Record Performance for Perth’s Favourite Playground

Off the back of last year’s FY2004 record results, Adventure World has recently posted the most successful
January result in the 23 year history of the business.

With revenues 15% above prior and accounting for 35% of annual revenue, Chief Executive Andrew Sharry is
extremely happy with the result after a slow start to the season impacted upon by generally unfavourable
weather conditions. He attributes the success to the ongoing improvement of the park’s now very well known
“Kids Cove” with another two rides targeting the families with young children market not to mention another
very popular addition in the form of two joey koalas which have significantly increased the popularity of Koala
Kingdom, one of the most unique koala habitats in Perth.

With revenue approximately 7.5% up on last year, the stage is set for yet another new ride in FY2006. Whilst
details are yet to be disclosed, it is set to represent a return to what has historically been one of the most
popular aspects of a day at Adventure World.

Adventure World is Perth’s largest amusement park set on 35 acres of land & has had over 4 million guests
walk through the gates since the park first opened in 1982. The park features 24 rides & attractions and
operates seasonally from September to April, employing over 175 team members.
