Blackhole now open at Wet'n'Wild

Phase 2 of Wet'n'Wild's park expansion is now completed, with Blackhole open in Extreme H2O Zone.

Image: WVTP. Blackhole, as the name suggests, features two enclosed slides that catapult riders into pitch black spirals of darkness. You don't know which way you're turning next, and you don't see a thing until you hit the final splashdown!
The Mach V (Phase 1) attraction has been open since mid January and houses the Parks two longest slides that have guests sliding through 160 metres of twists and turns in open air flumes. And for the first time at Wet’n’Wild Water World, one of these lengthy slides can be ridden in a three-man tube.

Then in September 2006, Wet'n'Wild Water World will continue the expansion of the impressive Extreme H2O Zone with the introduction of another giant slide, aptly named Tornado (Phase 3).

Steve Peet, Chief Operating Officer said, "The new area is 11,700 square metres in total increasing the park's land size by 30%. And because these rides are capable of operating high volumes of riders, the park's capacity will approximately increase by an amazing 50% which will significantly reduce queue times at all attractions throughout the park."
