In all the years I worked there I never once went to a breakdown on the Goldrush ride, therefore that deserves to be my favourite.

Cross between Demon and tassy. They were both great rides to me anyway.

Why are you wondering again?

Anyway, I worked there for nearly 5 years and don't remember "Gold Rush", "Sea Demon" or "The Beach" being rides at WLS. Does anyone have any info on these rides?

Well to be true Bussy, It was Sea Daemon. Used to be between Bounty's and Jousting Ring before the Wildlife Park was built - then it was moved to the site of the old funnel webb, and renamed HMS Endeavour.
You will notice it on page four of the 1985 Souvenir Book sold out of the park - on the park map.
I'm not going to supply the link, because we all know that the site is banned off the forums.
However, given it is relevant, I don't see that there will be any objection, so i'll type it out -

www . wonderland history . net / 85sb /

THERE'S A WORLD I'D LIKE TO LIVE IN, A WORLD I'D LIKE TO SEE
WHERE'S THERE'S TOO MUCH FUN FOR EVERYONE, AND STILL LOTS LEFT FOR ME
WHERE THERES MAGIC ON EVERY CORNER, AND A SMILE ON EVERY FACE
IF I COULD JUST GET OUT OF THIS PERFECT DREAM, INTO THIS PERFECT PLACE...

Wouldn't It be Wonderful, If the World Still Had Wonderland?

Not quite linking a banned site, naughty naughty Alex.

The point I was trying to make is that both rides are the same thing and it's pointless listing them both.

Beastie was the best as a kid.. when you could go on it like 20 times at once when the park was quiet on rainy days etc

And those sea planes in hbl were amazing when i was little. happy.gif

Bush beast was great though.

And just the general feelings you got when you rode the rides at wonderland made them that much better.
