MyFun, the ticketing portal and online presence for Warner Village Theme Parks, have reported the iconic Corkscrew Rollercoaster will no longer be entertaining riders as it has for the past 27 years. In its place will be the exact same ride, with a colour change and a new train -- arguably the most exciting new attraction to hit the Gold Coast this summer!
In results for the 2009 financial year, Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World have reported strong growth in attendance and profits, off the back of new major attractions such as Hollywood Stunt Driver (pictured) and the successful Q150 promotion.
Between a half-finished stunt show and a broken roller coaster, what was supposed to be a blockbuster summer for Warner Village Theme Parks looks to have resulted in a series of duds that are sure to impact the parks' performance over this crucial peak holiday period.
Australia's newest roller coaster is progressing as track arrives on site for the jet ski themed attraction. Speculation continues on just what style of ride the twisted track will form.
