Update these stats

Open Date: January 23 1997
Current Status: Operating

Uses LSM (linear synchronous motors) to launch the single shuttle along a straight launch track from 0-161km/h in seven seconds.

Tower of Terror was the fastest ride in the world when it debuted.

Shares the "Dreamworld Tower" with Giant Drop. Features 6.5 seconds of weightlessness or "airtime". Ever hear a squeal of tyres as the ride starts and stops? Because of the way LSM launches work, the ride requires a mechanical means of starting and stopping the motion.

In 2010 its car was replaced with a new backwards-facing model, reducing capacity from 15 to 14 and introducing OTSR restraints. The ride was rebranded as Tower of Terror II.
