DC Rivals HyperCoaster - Movie World to launch recordbreaking roller coaster
After 18 months of speculation, Warner Bros. Movie World have formally announced their roller coaster: DC Rivals HyperCoaster will open at the Gold Coast theme park in late 2017.

The ride's theme brings together DC Comics' superheroes and villains and celebrates these iconic rivalries.
With a length of 1.4km and height of 61.6 metres (202ft) it will be the largest roller coaster ever built in Australia. A top speed of 115km/hr makes it the fastest traditional roller coaster in Australia.
