  1. Close your eyes. Pretend you're in Disneyland!

  2. I like the ad I love that they are focusing back on what Dreamworld was founded on "fun for everyone" instead of the thrill seeker demographic hopefully we see more family rides in the park to follow up on the new focus They should of brought back a new version of the 80s Dreamworld one day holiday ad that would be cool

  4. Nearly every song ever used as a jingle or as part of a brand's advertising was not written with the intention of being anything to do with the brand it became aligned with. Imagination, fun, dreaming, excitement, escapism - are themes of the song that are quintessentially theme park related themes

  5. I miss the, 'do Dreamworld just for fun' song, that's pure nostalgia for me, not a song from a movie that has little to nothing to do with the park. But each to their own I suppose.

  6. Well if you're going to try and argue the mods of parkz are fanboys then there is no sense trying to continue this debate. It's widely known that parkz mods are probably some of the most highly critical people of the parks on this site so I don't like to think we're pretty objective. Out of curiousity how how would you word the article in relation to torque tripe? THAT would be constructive criticism...

  7. Alright someone has to say it: Maybe after people drowned, probably an idea to not start your come back ad with the phrase 'Hold your breath'. I don't hate the idea, I get what they're going for, they want something nice and safe and uplifting. I also like the new logo - never really been a fan of Dreamworld's modern logo, so that's all well and good, but using a song from a Warner Brother's movie that's being way over sung which starts with that line, yeah it's a big no from me.

  8. Definitely no fading yet on Superman Escape. Just a light exposure. It would have been taken roughly at the same time as the above Arkham Asylum picture to give you an idea of the lighting conditions.

  9. It definitely is the lighting, it's still looking very bright and red. This was taken last week

  10. Yes but for Christ sake this is an article for the general public to read so in that context it makes perfect sense. Obiously the nut is at the correct torque (unless the stripe as move of course) because that's part of the assembly procedure before the stripe is applied and signed off on. I dont understand why when people have good in depth information they use it to nit pick stupid shit like this rather than contribute meaningfully to discussion.

  11. Assuming they could have got the rights, I reckon this would have been a better choice of song to use. It includes the word "dream" (as in Dreamworld) multiple times, and also the word "happy" for a smooth transition from the previous campaign. Slogan could have been "Have a dream come true"!

  12. "Happy" is another obvious choice of song they could have used. Here's how a UK holiday company called "Butlin's" did it!
