  3. Your very own DC Rivals update for the 24th of June 2017. (Photos taken between 5:00 - 5:15pm) Comparison Shot 1 Comparison Shot 2 Non-Inverted Loop Lift Hill Storage Lot Lots more supports have appeared over the past week - and only two track pieces currently reside within the storage lot; however there are four shipping containers in the area.

  4. Penguin is back! Along with many other classic Batman Villians and Superheroes 😁 Everyone is really getting into the atmosphere, people dressed up everywhere ☺️ There's stacks of new daily shows and photo appearances too 👍 Oh, and they are playing music and theme songs from all the relevant shows and movies down main street too, instead of the usual pop music 👍

  5. Thanks go to everyone on Parkz who donated. I got to $3,300 and pushing to get to $4k. If anyone still fancies throwing in a few $$ it would be hugely appreciated. The account does not close till July 31st. Thanks again all who donated. Brilliant. www.ceosleepout.org.au search "Mark Shaw"

  6. I just polietly say no with a smile and keep walking. Also you'll be shocked to learn I'm not a fan of the setup, but offended? In the words of Stephen Fry "Well so fucking what?"

  9. So only 1 year after it build the stunning Taron (and Raik), Phantasialand already announced its next big thing: the world's first launched Flying coaster! What we know: - It will be the longest Flyer in the world, beating current record holder Flying Dinosaur (1,124m) - It will be located in the new Steampunk zone - It will feature a launch (duh.) What we do not know: - The manufacturer. Money's on Vekoma now, but B&M is not out of the equation too. - Opening year. 2018 is possible since they already started working on the new zone this year, but 2019 seems more likely. - The type of launch. Magnetic and tyre are the two most discussed options. - The layout and elements. Phantasialand keeps adding amazing stuff at a crazy pace!

  12. It was an absolute blast tonight. The park staff were friendly as always and it was great to see so many people in attendance! I have one criticism - went on shockwave and felt the additional harness is a little OTT safety wise. Used to go on that all the time and the back rest was always sufficient IMO. Took a lot longer to start also as the two staff member have to go around and strap everyone into the seatbelt style harness. I'm all for safety I just didn't think in having that added it made me any safer... Obviously with so many in attendance the ride wait times were longer which was expected. Fully behind the marketing team for putting on a great event and I thoroughly look forward to the next one! Longest I had to wait was around 40 minutes for sidewinder. Personal highlights - Kevil Hill was awesome and I feel the claw was going for a little longer tonight which was great

  13. Event just finished, here are my thoughts on how it went. It was beautiful to see how many people were in the park tonight, all thrill rides had long waits with TOT2 going down to the skull. Kevil Hill was great fun as usual. Managed to find a blindfold on the floor and managed to use it on Claw and Pandamonium (I know that's what I shouldn't have done but hey screw it I wasn't coughing up $4!) I did find it pretty effective and the only thing I could see was the lights around the area which is to be expected Personally I'm looking forward to the next one in July and I will be interested to see what they have to offer 😊

  14. Word from staff is that the mountain will go in favour of a new steel shed structure, with same track. I am at Dreamworld now and have asked a couple of different staff.

  15. I think it's fair logic that they will aim for the school holidays, and the October 'official' date is to give them a bit of breathing room incase of delays

  16. Cheers @xRazzBerryx 😁 One thing that made me happy today was to finally see the purpose of that randomly placed support base that was sitting out in the garden bed in the carpark! And what a very important job it has 😁 Then: Now:

  17. I'm sorry but this sun going down early in winter is killing my photos. This was @ 5:30pm last night. Poor IPhone, I asked a lot from it here. N-I_Loop construction continues. Update to my update. (Lucky for everybody, I had a site meeting at Pac Pines today)

  21. Oh, and for those who don't like reading small writing, here's a close up on the shipping container and what it's offering - a new upcharge option for kids to get a complete Hero or Villain makeover for $59 😮 From the fine print underneath, it does appear to have an age limit on it though (2-13 I think? My phone won't zoom in enough haha) 😛
