  1. In this particular case, a condom should have been used about 15 years ago

  2. Great spot for a Gerstlauer Bobsled, be a solid family ride as well.

  3. Here's my suggestion: empty out the other side of the show building. Find storage for your floats, christmas tree and other maintenance crap elsewhere. Plenty of land on property to stick up a new Titan Shed (or find a small soundstage that doesn't get used much and use that for a while. install a load bearing mezzanine. Install a multi-level tracked (or trackless) vehicle system. Utilise physical sets and 3d\4d animation for a looney-tunes styled attraction (think Justice League \ Toy Story Midway Mania). One could even run the storyline similar to the previous LTRR (but without the water) about bugs escaping and tunneling through to Australia - a good tip of the hat to the former attraction whilst giving it a new take \ angle. While i realise JL is in the park, and is very similar, this would be suitable for all ages, but aimed more at kids. the multi-level gives another aspect. If they give it a similar effort to Doomsday or Rivals, which seems to be their new standard, then they should pull it off and it would be a great addition to the park.

  4. I am not shocked by the vomit, I am shocked by the breakdowns! Imagine what a general guest would think of that, if they were not so knowledgeable as us. And why is it always the same rides that break? TOT, buzzsaw and tail spinner all had problems when I was there in June. Plus TailSpin has just been through 3 months of maintenance. It should be working 100%. Sad really.

  5. I’ve had a long association with Tangalooma Resort and many of its staff and residents over the years. The stories I heard, basically boiled down to Sarah and Freddy being total Divas and refusing to stay on the island. They were heli-coptered off the island each night back to the GC. Having said that, the rest of the cast and crew were the total opposite apparently. One of my mates assures me that of all the stars there for the filming period, Rowan Atkinson was exceptional and nothing but a gentleman, and happily chatted and had a drink with the staff and residents. So if you’ve always dreamed of having a beer with Mr Bean, at least you know he’s amicable.

  6. I think I can help you out here... It means that... Tail Spin will not open today... Buzzsaw will not open until next Monday... Escape from Madagascar will not open until the following Monday... So if you would like to experience any of these attractions it might be best to delay your attendance at the park until a time that the attractions you are wanting to experience are operating again...

  8. ^ No, it is still poorly worded. It should say trains arrive every 20 minutes, or average time between trains is 20 minutes. This is not the minimum amount of time you’ll have to wait. The train could be 30 seconds away.

  11. Junior Driving School could go anywhere, it could go in Superman's heilex, it could replace Taz Speedy Sam Train and Tweety's in one swoop. Maintenance storage could go anywhere. The objection is the waste of a show building which cost millions to build and isn't something Village have shown a willingness to build for a long time. I don't mind the ride, it's fine as is for now, but if MW were my park it wouldn't survive the next kids area overhaul as it stands.

  12. Quite true. But when you bought a Hyundai Excel in 1995, managed to drive it for ten years, and then parked it because the check engine light was on you probably shouldn't expect it to be a cheap fix in 2018. (preaching to the choir)

  13. Just on this and to expand a little - do some research online, so you have an idea of what prices they're offering before you go. By all means if you see a price you think is reasonable, make a booking if their cancellation policy allows no penalty cancels (many hotels over there allow you to make a reservation without any money down, and no penalty to cancel), and that way you'll have a 'fallback' - but have 2-3 hotels in mind, in order of priority - visit each one, and just enquire about a room price at the checkin counter. If you don't like what you get - then you've still got a fallback to go to!

  15. Warner Brothers Studio Tour. If you're interested in how movies or tv shows are made or like some particular WB movies or tv shows then it should be a pretty enjoyable couple of hours.

  16. Should say it is not worth waiting for. My real hope is @pushbutton gets to visit Japan and ride some monorails that are actually useful! Here's a show just about Japanese monorails for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m25RgamOpe4

  17. Not surprising-why the CEO last month sounded such an optimistic message on it I have no idea. Didn't look likely to happen then, would be better if they called it that way-if they want the public to have trust in them having safe rides. This is the same reason I don't get why they're trying so hard to make wipeout work again. It is an old ride, tell everyone that and take it away. Safety and an image of safety is way more important to the park than some nostalgia.

  21. Good decision by the park. Wasn’t worth trying to revamp and the land is much more suited to a new large scale attraction.

  24. This is right, Doomsday is an attraction that did nothing to improve attendance. It's arguably a similar thing to Driving School, nice enough, people enjoy it but it's still pretty meh. Thing is it utilized an area that was basically nothing, and 100% improved the aesthetic of that area (regardless of whether you agree with the theme or not)... But driving school took what was an extremely valuable asset (a massive dark ride show building) and completely wasted it. There is no benefit to it being in that location at all, and it means no major ride will ever go there. Taking an in park show building and turning half of it into storage and the other half into a modestly done kiddie only attraction is one of the most short sighted and bad decisions the previous management ever made. About as stupid as taking their next biggest show building and turning it into Storm.
