@Rabbit2014 just so you are aware, the water was refilled at the start of the year and testing has been happening since then

Was at park after dark tonight and it was a great night, at the start of the night wipeout got stuck sideways then later in the night say 9:35ish wipeout got stuck going into the final roll

So today i found out from a coworker that TG has already started shopping round for it's Sydney location. He said that he recently got a letterbox drop about it cause it's going to be near his house to some degree (i have no idea of his area). Also being an avid golfer, he also heard chatter around his course about some second location. Not sure of the credibility of it, but it shows something may be in the pipelines down here.

I was at movie world 2 weeks ago and no water at all, full of leaves and didn’t look like it was ever going to reopen but I guess it will after what’s it been 9 or 10 months. Will be great to have this family ride back

I don't see the absolute equivalence here. An annual pass to our parks costs only $200, or $180 for 2 weeks, so if you're going on a trip purely for a theme park it really can be quite cheap. I guess cruises do compete with parks as holiday choices, but in the same way cruises compete with EVERY other type of holiday you can think of in the same way. It's no surprise people are picking cruises more often these days, having done the Royal Carribbean South Pacific cruise myself, it's brilliant value for the hospitality you get from staff on board, seeing beautiful parts of the world every few days, as well as all of the on board entertainment, buffet breakfast every morning, restaurant dinner every night, the people you meet (and don't forget the plentiful excuses to drink). If you wanted to experience all of those things on the Gold Coast, you'd be paying quite a bit more, but if you're prioritising the parks over everything else, and make sacrifices in other areas, it'll end up being the cheaper holiday, it's a lot more complicated than just comparing the two holiday choices I think.

It's such a 'soft' advertisement that most People wouldn't even notice it. "AUSTRALIA'S FIRST" blends into the Clouds along with everything else being said. All critisism aside, this type of ride has never been marketed well (not even Disney). Possibly because it simply must be seen first hand to be believed. Truly remarkable in every sense. Oh @pushbutton mark my words when I say you are in for one hell of a treat when this opens!

The DW Cinema has now been removed from the park map, and this has been added too (No new info, but thought id share that they are advertising on the map)
