  2. Pathway past Billabong is out of action, so Corroboree etc can only be accessed via the fancy teleportal they’ve apparently built in the Ice Cream store....

  4. Very clearly stated in the terms and conditions that it includes the sipper with free refills... You got ripped off sadly. It's okay, they tried to tell me that when I renewed my pass to a one pass that by choosing the monthly payment option I wasn't entitled to the renewal perks... Ended up speaking to guest services at Movie World, the lady was incredibly polite and checked up on it and promptly fixed it up for me too.

  5. The real question is, should we be concerned with DW removing planned maintenance?

  6. I don't hate the batman crossover idea - the ride is right next to Gotham City Hall after all. I'd just hate for it to degrade into some cheap spinoff without the recognition. I'm happy to stick with the original film as the theme of the ride - I just hope they do something different with the queueline video...

  8. It's really great that you took the time to waste a ride manufactures time to get info that was already obvious. Your point is the stupid one. Given you can get an original spec Arrow train made right now from the original manufacturer (even if it's changed hands 3 times!) the fact a ride model is no longer produced has NOTHING to do with original manufacturer support and parts. Movie World just had White Water West (who bought Hopkins) work with them on changes to Wild West Falls, another ride where even the manufacturer doesn't exist any more. As for the X Car stuff only being listed as Specials on their website. Any manufacturer will happily make you something that no longer produce for the right price! Your efforts to shoot down people on this forum and make them look dumb is actually only serving to expose you as the ignorant one 'my stupid friend'.

  9. You're really starting to shit me. You make a lot of broad reaching statements, but you never provide any support for them. A lot of them could be true, but without citation or support, it could very well just be your own assumptions, which you present as fact. The Maurer Rides website still lists Skyloops \ Skywheels (XT450, XT150) on their website under 'specials'. The same section lists: Drives Inclined / Vertical / Up-side-down Lift and LSM Launch Vehicles 2- / 4- / 6-seater as well as coupled single vehicles and trains Restraints T-Bar, Lap-Bar (X-Seat I), Overhead-Bar (X-Seat II), Flexible Bar (Belt) So I'm calling bullshit... (Interesting side note - has anyone discussed SPIKE yet? ) As for your suggestion that Dreamworld are going to have an issue getting manufacturer cooperation - just because a manufacturer doesn't sell the product anymore, doesn't mean they don't continue to provide support to their customers... and to suggest that is just stupid... how likely do you think another park would be to buy a Maurer product if they knew that as soon as the company decided to stop making that model, they'd be on their own?

  10. Funnily I really like Buzzsaw, though it was much better when it first launched and went through 2 rotations. Find the harnesses great, the off your seat experience in the vertical to upside-down transition to be second to none (must do without holding on), and it packs some great speed coming out of the roll into the dive.

  11. Trust me, there's no way that will go according to plan. Basically find how many days it is planned to be closed for, multiply that by 4 and that's how long it will be shut for.

  12. The Claw today had its 5th push back, now until 2nd July. The Tower of Terror is now closing until 2nd July also. Sword Swings also closed unexpectedly according to maintenance page, opening 2nd July. It's probably best for DW to do that planned maintenance on TOT now as the ride is clearly falling apart.
