  5. It is expensive, but the VIP ticket for Universal is worth looking at. You get breakfast, VIP front of line access to all rides and attractions for the entire day. While on the tour, the guide will hold your bags etc to prevent you needing to use the lockers, you also get lunch and a VIP tour of the backlot, which is a bit longer than the standard but, the bus is airconditioned, and you do get to get out and walk around some of the set areas (we got to walk around the little europe and war of the worlds sets. I recommend booking an early morning our time. even if you book a later one the VIP pass is valid beforehand. we used it to sneak a ride on Harry Potter before the tour started.

  6. In regards to the fencing around the MW carpark. I am going to assume it’s for Rivals maintenfe, because it’s not fenced alongside the road, and it is literally just in line with the rides footprint. The type of machinery that’s onsite to, id say it’s for inspecting the track of rivals

  7. What? ABC reached out for comment from a credible/respected academic in this field and he gave his expert opinion. Nothing he said is even remotely controversial. The whole 7:30 piece to me seemed fairly safe and bland. Lacking in depth, sure, but I'm not getting overtones of agenda or bias.

  8. Re: the reported Cyclone incident Yeah, but given the reporting on it is so one sided how can we even be sure we should care at this point? We don't know who was on the ride. We don't know who dispatched it. We don't know why. We don't know what the outcome was. If we don't know any of those things, why would someone go to press with it unless they were trying to perpetuate a narrative? it could be dead-right, but we would never know like this. Also: Well, where the fuck was expert professor Quinlan protesting in the streets before the accident? My tip is: absolutely nowhere.
