  1. Why does it have to come to an end? People like horses. People like beer. People like getting away from the kids. People like going on a date and not having to talk to their partner. WIN WIN WIN WIN.

  5. I attended the Media Launch for AOS way back in what, 2006.. loved it. But I never went back. Now seeing this show advertised has re-ignited my interest and for the 1st time in over a decade I have taken the time to find out more about what this one is about. After all these years I have a few good reasons to be dragged back and it is without a doubt doing the same for many others out there too. Sorry A-to the-Lex-to the-B but this tine I have to disagree with thee! People do love the Horses, the Show, the Food - and most definately the Beer! The show now looks to be rebooted enough to keep going for a couple more years before the next story- And that's just it- they can keep coming up with new stories all the time, keep it fresh! AOS ain't going nowhere anytime soon and neither should it.

  7. I think it's sustainable. The newness factor has well and truly worn off and it's running off it's own sustainability at this point. I think the newness of the technology might see a boost of some kind, but ultimately it's sustainable if people enjoy the show regardless of the tech. If people see the new show and think it's good and tell their friends then it's sustainable, as it has been for the past 8 or so years since the newness wore off.

  8. Disney used to have a bad habit of just closing attractions or gutting them if a new sponsor didn't come along to pay for the upgrades. Village had enough money for the upgrades without having to engage a sponsor. If a sponsor came on board, cool, if not, they are still able to open the attraction.

  9. I mean you don’t get the extra month that you get from a direct purchase. I’d say the extra month is a better deal.

  12. So apparently it’s an “Adventure precinct” which is then explained to be cabanas over the water which will no doubt be an upcharge, and covered seating. Oh boy I can’t wait!

  14. Corroboree is always a long work no matter which way you go. What they should have done is sell DW after they realised how incompetent they are. The problem with that is only a competent person would know that they are incompetent.

  15. The door in use in your photo is marked as a fire exit. If you look closely, you'll see the larger panel the fire door is contained in, as well as the almost identically sized panel to the right of it are both actually gates. (You can make out the hinge connection at the top right). THis is also backed up by the vacant space in front of them. If those gates aren't in use regularly for vehicles, there'd be no reason to leave the space in front of them clear to swing them open. Note also, just above the left side of the gates, is a large number of stacked pallets. You don't do that by hand - thats a forklift, and that's a vehicle. This is also supported by the yellow lines painted on the ground - a good WH&S indication of 'keep clear' or 'pedestrian walkways' (go to bunnings - you'll see them). I have to disagree... sort of. I guess, yes, they could better use their land if they tetris-ed everything in - but Luna is a little more about the whimsy, not the regiment. They're never going to be doing any sort of large expansion. I'd rather not start clusterfucking the park for the sakes of fitting in an extra flat. As for the grassed area, I feel like the roof of the carpark probably wasn't built to withstand weight on top of it, or at least more than what is on it. The carpark would probably need significant reinforcing works to have large moving machinery plonked down on top of it, with is probably prohibitive. In addition, the need to put in a ramp or accessway to get to it would also take up more 'in park' space as well - which could probably be better spent used for other things.

  19. Wow. I’ve gotta give you credit for waiting in the huge line for FOP @Mc coaster. I think the ride is a cool concept, but it really would only work with an IP. It works well with avatar, as you are flying around on a banshee. I think a Soarin’ style ride will do just fine as you fly around Australia. Here is a Brogent i ride that recently opened in Europa Park called Voletarium. The theming on this is outstanding & definitely makes the whole attraction so much better. I do wonder what theming Dreamworld could do & how well it can be done. I’m not expecting a huge amount, but hopefully they put some effort into theming! 🤞🏼
