  2. Update from early November. Pretty much the entire land is flat now, with only a small part of the reservoir and channel to go. There is about 6,600m squared of land here that's been cleared. The dirt stockpile is in the Blue Lagoon.

  5. I don't remember where exactly in Tanawah it used to be, possibly near Super Bee or the Bellingham Maze? Here's an article from Sunshine Coast Daily. I think it was a standalone, not from a waterpark. I had assumed it was the old one from Maroochydore/Alex Headland (Olympia 'theme park') near McDonald's before finding that article.

  6. Image from early November. This expansion is using a lot more land than I originally expected, which is great to see. I really do hope that they either install a new tower for slides, or leave some land free for a future attraction. If they just do a lazy river (adventure), what ever it is, and have cabanas, etc then that leaves them no more land for future attractions. Unless they remove the Shell (which I really hope they do, wasted space)

  8. So apparently it’s an “Adventure precinct” which is then explained to be cabanas over the water which will no doubt be an upcharge, and covered seating. Oh boy I can’t wait!

  9. Because they are still trying to increase attendance. Simple media tactic to remind people they are open 364 days a year. Hahahhahahaha It will probably be a combination of over the top ride restraints no one else in the word has.

  10. A, erm, "fun" visit to what's left of Sea World today. On entry I was greeted by this. and this sign informed me that several of the few remaining rides were not working. This reminded me of the all you can eat restaurant Sea World once had. And there really wasn't anything much else to see. Might take another look sometime in 2019.
