  1. I dunno joz probably because a Holiday with a 4 year old is likely more about what the Parent's want to get out of it.

  2. Resort World SENTOSA just announced that it will be expanding the resort with a 4.5 billion dollar expansion. Most importantly USS will be expanding in size to include A minion park feature Discpicable Me Minion Mayhem, and a Super Nintendo World. https://www.rwsentosa.com/-/media/project/non-gaming/rwsentosa/press-release/pdf/en/2019/20190403-press-release--rws-embarks-on-mega-expansion-plans.pdf

  3. Apart from Universal Japan, all of those options have a great selection for young kids. If it was me I’d go for Hong Kong and save the Tokyo Disney trip until your boy is a little older. With a four year old the smaller Disney park will work in your favour and while Ocean Park’s ride lineup is just OK the aquarium and animal exhibits are excellent.

  4. They'd probably sell more if they would announce when the new seating area is opening. Surely they can get the opening date for that right.

  5. I am not sure but could this be linked to the incident at Adventuredome were a women fell out of the vehicle on their El loco coaster.

  6. Spending money on an overseas trip I wouldn't care much on what a 4 year would want to see or do. In a few years your son will be lucky to remember it. Do what I did over Christmas and leave the kid at home with the wife and go by yourself.

  7. I'm actually going to be in Japan in 2020 in time for the USJ Mario Land opening. Can't wait for Super Nintendo World to be a thing in USG too. Having one at the nearest Universal park to our shores is exciting. The Minion area - not so much. Minion Mayhem is IMO the weakest Universal simulator, but great for the kids, Madagascar will need an update in the 2020s anyway as it will be an outdated IP very soon. Shame to see the Madagascar boat ride go though - I thought that was a nicely themed ride when I went there a few years ago. Something Dreamworld could replicate if it had the budget.

  8. It’s usually about $28 for popcorn & a drink so I guess you are really only paying $2 to jump the 6 people in the queue..

  11. The reason why the BR was closed because it was going to cost a lot of money to repair, infact the cost of repair would of been similar to the cost of a brand new pirate ship. Due to the AW knowing that Goliath’s arrival was coming they decided to put that money into Goliath otherwise they might have not been able to afford Goliath or it would have came later. There was thoughts about replacing BR in the future with a bigger version however that was before Goliath and many people now consider that ride as a good replacement for the BR however there might always be plans for bringing back a bigger and badder BR.

  12. I don't mind attraction specific shirts for some of the big rides in a park, but what i do want to see more of is POLO SHIRTS. Nice, good quality. by all means go dye sublimation and have a really nice full colour thing like dreamworld, but don't use the same montage of ride photos that means the shirt is dated simply by referencing which rides are still running. My preference (and things I wear almost weekly) is a nice wick-away (not heavy cotton or synthetic) polo, in a single, or two\three-toned colour scheme, with the park logo on, or in the position of, the breast pocket. MW and SW have these (although some are identical shirts designs in the same colours, just with a different logo, which is a bit of a cheap out.) Polos in the 90's and 00's were widely available at parks all over - but in the 2010s, the collar seems to have disappeared to be replaced by simple crew neck t-shirts, which is disappointing.
