  1. So I don’t work for VTP so not sure what their lineup of shows has to do with audio on a ride at dreamworld. But thanks for your juvenile attempt of trying to call someone out on a theme park forum thinking they know something personally about them that you actually don’t. But you didn’t say the sound was above it’s weight and could be better you said “brilliant” “amazing” and “Disney quality” You affirmed those comments by prefacing the by saying you are a self proclaimed expert on the mater. Is the sound adequate? Maybe. But that’s far from what you described.

  2. I'd like to give a big thanks to @pushbutton for "nauseating reacting" to all of my recent posts. I couldn't have done it without you ❤️

  4. Making WWW look 1000% better is not a waste of money. WWW looked absolutely terrible before these slides were painted as they were sun faded to the extreme. Repainting these slides massively improves WWW cosmetically from a run down shithole to a well maintained water park that can compete with WnW down the road. Rather than using my words, pictures tells a thousand words so I'll send some here: This picture below is a picture of Wedgie before it was repainted: And after at the same angle. Similarly, this is a picture of Green Room before (wedgie can be seen in the foreground): And after (on the right is Green Room, you can also see Wedgie on the left) Now you tell me, what is better looking? Freshly painted slides that look brand new, or faded old slides? I'm sure that any logical person would prefer the former.

  5. It's a Fabbri Spinning Mouse, similar to TPA's Crazy Coaster, except slightly different layout and instead of unlocking halfway through the layout, it stays spinning the whole time. Dunno what other shows it's gonna do, as no-one is really sure of the owners, but I assume it'll do more regional shows rather than capitals, as that position has already been filled by the Crazy Coaster. Should do well though and I wish the owners the best of luck! From what I've seen, coasters always do really well at most shows, so definitely a good investment for the long term.

  6. Ha!! Didn’t realise they were gone???? Honestly did anyone on these boards ever watch them regularly? I watched a couple of episodes and the one that did it for me was when they asked for serious questions from their “viewers’ and they treated serious questions with absolute contempt. I lost all respect for them at that point. Their efforts to be taken seriously as a theme park chat show just fell so short. Terrible IMHO. No mourning here if they are truly gone!!

  7. In your last photo I feel there was a sign advertising the pizza and pasta portion of the buffet. Has anyone been there yet to report what the new offering is like? If only ParkChat Live was still around, we could have had a full hour episode review!

  8. The update to the menu and name has meant instead of replacing the neon sign, they've a small sign next to the big sign to tell you what the new name replacing (but without actually replacing) the original name And I feel like there used to be something on this wall, but I can't remember what. Probably wasn't anything. Also I don't mind them keeping the fairy lights, but I wish they would at least take these ones down

  9. You do realise that the “original” 1990 IT was a 2 part TV miniseries. It was not a cinema release, it was literally a 2 part TV show. However it was extremely successful and has a huge cult following, though many people don’t realise that the “original” has 2 parts. So yes you can call it a franchise, especially with the cinematic “remakes” being released.

  10. Dude, get down off your High Horse, please. I am a little surprised at such aggressive retort by a Moderator of all People on this forum - especially pointed toward someone like myself who never engages in rubbish like this as you should be well aware. I simply offered my opinion and as someone who has spent many years in the Theme Park industry and as an avid Theme Park Enthusiast, nothing more. Saying you are a buff at something does not mean you are an expert - nor did I ever suggest that I am. I appreciate the valid opinions of other's and happily accept them when delivered in a pleasant manner. So thank you for insulting my opinion as Juvenile when I suggested that you worked for VTP. I'm sorry but from your posts over the years you have always suggested that you were involved with AOS? I stand corrected but I am sure anyone in this site that has been here for ever would share the same view. I really don't understand why it's such a big deal and like everyone else on this forum appreciate the same level of respect that I give. This is not that. Feel free to delete this post Mods and can we please get back.on track. Thanks.

  15. The ladder from the peak is usually for maintenance personal only. If someone is freaking out inside imagine them freaking outside. So if you valley on these slides (either proslide or Whitewater version) you normally go back towards the low point if you are just over the minimum weight (around a 5kg mark). If you stop at the peak normally the lifeguard at the bottom yell into the slide and tell the guest to move forwards. Backwards just means its a little harder work to reset the slide. Top hatches are just for maintenance to check sensors and water outlet jets.

  16. I don’t mind it! 🤷‍♂️ Certainly catchy and fits with the other slide names.

  17. Maybe because they realised that was a more popular location and got more of a crowd that way

  20. Honestly - wouldn't you just push off and slide down to the bottom? bugger climbing down that ladder in bare feet - seems like it'd be more of a maintenance accessway than an escape hatch.

  27. I’m not sure if this will be persistent through the whole ABC Kids World but the area where the seating is has a fresh coat of paint. It also seemed that other insignificant spots towards the entrance near MDMC had also been painted. Please appreciate the provided photo below as I was asked by security why I was taking weird photos.. Than again, I guess it is odd.

  30. There it is (1st two photos), the shaded seating area looking pretty much complete, albeit relocated to Whitewater World. Yet a few people thought I was only joking!
