  1. Just put together a comparison video now that all major slides are complete.

  2. So headed down this afternoon at 4 as I figured the morning would be busy. Smart play as we didn’t wait more than 5mins for anything. We did 5 or the 6 (slides 2 and 3 are identical speed slides so no point riding twice). For those curious on queuing... the slide level is set up with numbers on the floor (think Sky Voyager). left hand side of stairs is slides 1-3 right hand is 4-6. 3 people for each slide (so total 18) are up the top at once whilst the rest of the queue line is down the stairs. Everyone is weighed as they get to the top of the stairs (Max 120kg). A light system tells you when to go (as well as the operator). All 6 slides go at once, and then generally slides 2-3 will have another cycle on their own before all 6 go again - as being speed slides the cycle is obviously fast. On to the slides (in the order I did them). 6 - first half is enclosed with some decent lighting effects and then open. Good slide 5 - fully open slide and appeared to be a little slow until more than halfway thru. I was wearing a singlet though which was slowing me down so I ended up sitting up to limit the traction. Needless to say singlet off after this one. 4 - is pitch black for the large part with a few sections of lighting 2/3 - great little speed slides 1 - good slide but found it a real punish on my back on each segment joint. Ended up sitting up as it was literally bordering on painful. All in all though it’s another positive for WWW for me and another nail in WnW. It makes WWW a far more complete park.

  3. I’ve been told that SDSC now has over 60 new lights and led stripes all around the disco room and has 6 different program loops

  5. Yeah absolutely. I’d say 2/3, 4 and 6 will be ones I do regularly now

  6. Went on it Wednesday night and it’s looking the best it has since opening imo. Everything worked, including the fog curtain projection, and they have some new cityscape murals and lighting in the scene just before you enter the ship towards the end. It’s usually always busy when I attend on weekends, and it’s majority families so I’d say it’s still appealing and pulling it’s target demographic

  7. Yesterday I went on Justice League & well, the ride is just a mess.. as it has been for quite a while now. Every time I ride, something seems to be wrong. From the guns not working to the targets not registering. I know the ride is only 7 years old, but the problems with it just make the ride experience very dull. 99% of the time I step into Justice League’s line, it’s walk on. To me that’s either because, a) It’s kind of tucked away & people don’t realise it’s there or b) People just aren’t a big fan of it. It’s a family ride yes, but do families with young children still enjoy this? Is it still hitting their target audience? Anyone with kids feel free to share your thoughts. Why do you ride? Because you enjoy the ride or simply because you enjoy air conditioning 😂 Finally, what are your thoughts on its future?

  8. I’ve had some videos shared with me and it makes the disco room live up to its name. No smoke, but the amount of lighting effects and lasers makings this part of the ride awesome again. If they had simply added all of this and brought the original props back for the rides refurb it would have definitely been worth it. I highly recommend riding to just see this laser room

  9. They do realise the issues with the ride, right? It seems unusual that they're putting money into some lasers and light effects when the real issues are in the slowest parts of the rides where people are actually paying attention to the theming.

  10. Has an interesting ride on SDSC 2.0 on Wednesday night at fright nights. We arrived just prior to park closure (about 4:30) so headed straight in to have a ride on scooby as I knew the line would be ridiculous once White xmas began. We boarded pretty much bang on 5pm, the majority of the projection work in the lead up to the Elevator wasn’t working (not surprising based on previous rides), elevator screens worked, however once we exited the turntable room after the backwards drop - there was zero, and I mean Zero lighting. Now I’m used to the lasers being gone etc, but the track usually still has some illumination, but there nothing. It actually made it pretty fun as you couldn’t see anything that was coming at all, bit scary for my 7 year old. It was so dark you easily see the elevator bringing the next cars up as it was the only light in the room. Super strange, but enjoyable in weird way

  11. As you can see, the fence is working super well. It now allows people to access the “photo op” that’s in the envelope of the train line... Photo stolen from @AlexB

  12. Then isnt the LPM model superior to the Seaworld model as the LPM restrictions are 110cm to ride with an adult whereas Seaworld's is 120cm to ride with an adult? Doesnt seem like a down side to me..........

  13. Update for Luna Park Melbourne- they have just installed a new permanent ride in time for the Summer school holidays. They have installed a Skyflyer called Supernova. For the young ones they also have a new attraction called the Happy Swing. Both attractions should prove popular with their respective target audiences and are great additions to Luna Park's lineup. Its great to see that LPM are committed to refreshing their ride line up after a decade of stagnation. Now if we could just get installed that 2nd coaster, things would really be looking up......

  14. This is easy. Every ride at DW needs a refurbishment.

  16. Hopefully it's just a quick removal of the ride rather than the whole area, would be nice for them to reuse the wave, shack/station and old surfboards that went missing a while back in the seating area. If you're not going to give us anything new then a reminder of what once was is better than nothing

  18. Interesting. I didn't look at the Ocean Parade list of attractions, I saw that they have removed the title "Zombie Evolution" in the illustration of the building (you can see it is just gray now) so I thought it was going to be closed. Kevil Hill's actual page is giving a 404 error on Dreamworld's website now so something must be happening with it. The easy way to fix the flowrider problem...
