  1. ... or they could put in some actual effort for once?

  2. I think they should utilise the theatre how they did with Planet SOS. Make it an attraction that people want to visit. It always used to get queues. I rarely saw a queue for Spongebob, even in peak periods. Put the entrance back on the other side and make it noticeable. Removing it or utilising it for something else would be great, but if they don’t want to spend the money, then create another 4D show that’s worthwhile

  3. 1. It seems like the monorail will be SBNO until the new area is done. 2. Vortex looks great and I can't wait to ride.

  4. I'm not saying it's the best it could be, but I really like how it looks. Just because it does not have much theming doesn't make it look bad. Also the wall behind the sign might be a water feature i'm not sure tho (It looked it was on on Friday)

  6. Whilst they are at it, Disney should demolish Sleeping Beauty's Castle because it has been there for a really long time... The castle at Sea World is sadly another case of Sea World neglecting what was once an icon (much like the light house). I am with you, going by the recent trend at that park, it will probably be unceremoniously removed, much like the light house was, but what could or would they put in that location? I mean, it would give them a chance to help flatten that area, perhaps even re-work the pathways around storm, they could fill in the splash down pool for Vikings and make the area more and easily accessible.

  7. a new flat ride would be good but it should be a higher thrill level and not some flat ride that should belong in Nickelodeon land

  8. There were talks/rumours a couple years ago that there were plans to remove the castle, but that wouldn’t happen until they are ready to put in a new attraction

  9. If that is something that looks great we really are setting the bar quite low for standards when it comes to presentation of a ride that looks in that photo literally thrown down, bare minimum done and called a day.

  11. No point arguing with him. He always wins anyway. Now come over here and have a beer with the men.

  13. Does it matter what they are called? The world has gone mad, but if people are now getting offended by what people call a parking space, then I don’t know if I want to live in this world anymore. When did everyone become such snow flakes?

  14. So hilariously cheap? I think that is a bit of a misnomer. They certainly do not skimp on attractions- I dont think anyone would look at the ride line up at Six Flags Magic Mountain and call it "cheap". What they do miss out on is general theming and immersiveness that chains such as Disney and Universal prize so highly. Even SeaWorld Parks and Cedar Fair , overall , has general attention to detail and theming greater than most Six Flags. Its never been their strongpoint or even their purview. Thats not to say that they CANNOT produce highly themed attractions however, the quality of their rides is clearly undisputed. They certainly cannot be described as "hilariously cheap" IMHO.

  15. Oh yeah cool so that’s how we’ll live is it? If something doesn’t offend you then to hell with what anyone else thinks or feels. By your logic I’m not upset that they took away a couple of parking spaces so you shouldn’t be either.
