  1. The curving gesture around the ride looks cool, but the rectangular control box is a bit jarring and disrupts the curve. Even if it's just a rectangular building, couldn;t they do wires with vines, or ribs of steel or something to finish the arc?

  2. My best memory of the parks is working the Movie Magic Special Effects show at Movieworld. An extremely cruisy day... maybe three shows before parade, go out and put the bollards down, two shows after parade. Such an incredible crew to work with and made some lifelong memories including * Accidentally picking non-english speaking volunteers (except for superman - superman was always a family man or a non-english speaking tourist) * trying to make sense of the sound effects stage * playing around in the gimble at memphis belle * dodging bootys being thrown over the set at your head while on the superman stage Such an easy shift and so much fun.. maybe do a lunch relief at WWF or Scooby but most of the time chill in the greenroom.

  3. I was there today and the water was running down the vortex. I only managed to get a photo. It looks good. Quite a few staff walking around the ride.

  4. @Gazza 100% agree. They’ve gone to the effort of all these curves and then BAM... box I also wish they’d do something about the back of the shed so it wasn’t such an eye sore

  5. I really want them to get some sort of roller coaster but the cranky Karens have to complain about noise

  6. Yeah the Mystery Manor has been confirmed as being permanently removed for a while now. Its removal is what started the speculation about a new attraction to replace it- couple that with the markings that were spotted in Maloney's Corner at the start of March and we can hopefully see some more expansion plans come to fruition!!!

  7. I don't know if I'd call these cheaply plonked carnival rides that were put in with the 'modern' Luna Park of the Arrow Big Dipper era classic. If they look to remove the Rotor or Coney Island then we should all start getting angry.

  8. Y'know, you never realise just how much work goes into the water quality at water parks until it's actually brought up.

  9. I can’t reveal much more than that at the moment, but unless things change drastically, Ranger definitely won’t be returning to the park.
