  1. Those are some pretty strong projectors.

  2. The good thing is the way the drop was designed, you didn’t get wet from the splashdown. There was also a waterfall effect which “threatened” to wet you as you approached the lift. Man, so glad I got to experience this awesome ride, wish it was still around for future generations to enjoy.

  3. I've been a few times and they have for sure lowered the volume. The first time just after the reopen it was horribly loud. After the lighting upgrade to the disco room the volume has lowered and its probably at the right volume now.

  4. Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster (original version) could be considered as a fantastic dark ride built in the last 20 years, under prior management? True. Clark & Bikash cannot be 100% responsible for the gradual degradation of the VRTP themepark product offering. This has happened over many years, prior to them in top management roles. I just don't think either of them have the true passion and vision to steer VRTPs out of the current "cedar fair/six flags" product quality, and more towards busch gardens/europa park/universal quality.

  5. I'd sooner they put JDS into the HSD arena if they wanted to build a kick ass dark ride in the LTRR stage. Lord knows HSD is shit, and JDS would be a better use of the space. It won't happen though.

  6. The beauty about Driving School, is that it literally can be picked up and moved elsewhere relatively cheaply. Same goes for whatever is in storage on the other side of the shed. With Driving School, if they get the models and props water and weather proof, it doesn't even need to be inside. It wouldn't take much to build a ride of similar vein to Looney Tunes River Ride, it just requires someone at the park with vision and willing to spend money.

  10. July 25 Visit Trip Report Went to MW this morning for my first more extensive visit where I went on a couple rides (because that’s all that was open) With it being a very rainy day, the park was almost empty. The longest queue was for DC Rivals at 10 minutes. Scooby and JL was a walk on. If a normal amount of rides were open, every ride would have probably been a walk on the whole day. The amount of staff they have on for each attraction and at the entry to stores is great. They are really making sure there aren’t too many people in a store. The trains/seats were being wiped down after every ride. For Scooby, they were wiping them at the exit and again before any boarded. Here’s a look at how the queue area currently is The ride itself hasn’t changed that much since last year, things still not working, timing really off. The disco room is still great, but that’s about it. Access to AA is still open down the alleyway, but it’s a dead end because SE is closed So in total today, there were 9 rides open. That means that SW almost has more rides operating
