Far out DW fanboys, a lot of people have involvement in a project. But someone says Kudos to whoever at VRTP signed off on it, and say well direct your kudos to DW then. Then it's a case of 'No, he didn't sign off on it' and it's like 'Well he was probably involved, and who cares anyway'. Well no one does except for some reason people wanted to attribute the popular thing to their man for what ever reason, and then act like others are being pety for saying 'Nah that's not how it is'. Maybe he put wooden coasters on the radar. Maybe he said 'You should ride this'. Maybe. I've no doubt he had some involvement, but I think declaring him the person who signed off on it and the mastermind of the whole thing just seems revisionist. Realistically though, you've got to question how much sway he would have had, given he was sent off to China to languish around the same time as the contracts would have been being signed. Anyway, that's the end of the discussion who signed off on it. Further comments on the matter will be deleted.

Boomerang only sounds bland because enthusiasts know the term well and we're all sick of Boomerangs. For normies, it's a great description of the ride that simultaneously appeals to Aussie sensibilities.

Does it really mater, who actually cares.

The public will be fine. It's the media that'll kick up a stink. I can guarantee that whenever ST is on the news this year, TRRR will be brought up.

Hi there all! Wanna give you an update to the construction! Sorry that it's been a little while since my last post. I've needed to have a break because of some mental health issues that I've been having. Anyways.... The Fence to enter Maloney's Corner is now being removed as I speak! For the new Luna Land entrance. The Foundations and Shed are now confirmed to have been removed from Tumble Bug. No other construction has started on Big Dipper. You can see a Cement Truck leaving LPS after starting the foundations for rides like Little Nippers. And you can also see the Maintenance Team fixing up ride s like the Ferris Wheel, Crystal Palace, and the Wild Mouse! Have a look at this photo from a week and a half ago and look at the difference to Maloney's Corner! Next update will be whenever I get there! (P.S Yes, I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't use Switchback (my proposed name that I did send) for the now named Boomerang...)

You may fountain him, but he's not wrong. I can also guarantee at least 1 6pm news show will go off on a tangent for at least 30 seconds to properly remind people of the incident.

I would say as most seasonal parks are they will do annual maintenance and tear the rides apart. Closer to opening they will reassemble and finish maintenance and re commission all the rides.

You're telling me that a former chief operating officer of VRTP, who was also a board member of AALARA, had nothing to do with Leviathan - an element of a far more elaborate precinct project that was fully fleshed out in May 2019, before his departure from the company? I mean, sure - Kirby obviously had his little 'final approval' stamp to go on, but that doesn't mean he determined the type, sourced the supplier, nutted out the design, right? I mean, we've long bemoaned Ardent's habit of CEOs choosing rides... you don't honestly think Kirby was the instrumental success for this, given his other exploits?

Nope. But I'm pretty sure Bikash went on a trip to China and rode the Jungle Blazer (or whatever they're called) wooden coasters by MVR in China, which convinced him to get one for SW. I also believe the decision to create a whole new 'precinct' only came about not too long before the announcement (ie. it certainly hasn't been years in the planning). I could be wrong on this, but don't think I am.
