Vertical construction on Boomerang has started and Bug looks basically complete

Was at jamberoo today. they’ve completely Excavated the plot of land where “Splash Out” use to be, slide is no more and splash pool is demolished. They’re really getting a head start!! I would have photos, but I didn’t have my phone on me. Sorry.

It’s decent. There are some cool lego sets to look at. It’s worth heading down if you like lego

Given the tower was built with the sole purpose of supporting TOT, the reason Tower of Terror was written on the side was because the tower WAS the ride. The tower wasn't just standing there without a ride attached to it for years before they decided to add the track...

From past June 2015 Parkz update: Let’s hope they keep the previous effects, & add mist (for an approximate of 2 weeks until they see it not worth to keep running like every other attraction that once had mist).

Hi guys, I thought that this document deserved its own topic- it has huge historical and current information contained in its weighty pages. Have a look at the list of contents that are contained within: There are some excellent historical maps of the site- dating back to the 1800's and showing the original shoreline before it was taken over by the Dorman Long Workshops. There is for the first time that I have ever seen a map of the famed Cliff face Tunnel that was used as an air raid shelter during WW II There are condition reports on items of historical value with the park as per below: I have cherry picked a few items from within the document to illustrate what is contained within it. Its a long document but one that is packed with comprehensive information about all things Luna Park, the site, the items of historical significance and its place within the fabric of Sydney and its importance as an historical site, condition reports of the historical artworks within the park and even original plans for Coney Island and the site circa 1935. Please sift through it and enjoy the info that is contained within it- its not everyday that we have such access to so much info regarding a park that is 85 years old .
