  1. Hey everyone, so I just wanted to reply to this conversation I started, today I went to movie world. And the staff were sooooooooo friendly and helpful. At the entry I asked the lady from looking at me which rides did she think I wouldn't fit on. She was so friendly and explained where the harness fits on each ride. She gave me tips for Scooby doo and told me to ask for a harness check for Superman. So the verdict, I did what she and others said and I sat in the back row of Scooby doo, as I sat down I pulled the lap bar down so it clicked and then adjusted myself under it. It was tight but got a green light straight away no issues. Hyper coaster was closed today, and the lady at the front said green lantern would be a no go, so I didn't try. For Superman, I saw the lady at the end of the queue and asked if I can try a harness, she radioed the other member of staff and she said it will just be me and the member of staff and the empty kart so no embarassment. They take you in the exit back entrance wait for the current riders to get off so it's just you on your own and then she tried two seats, the front row is slightly bigger but I fit both. Again everyone was very friendly and I never once felt embarassed or like I was a hassle. The Wild West falls, I got on and the lady clicked the bar down, it did hit my stomach, she asked if I was comfy and I said yep. She was happy and so was I. Overall a great day! My advice is don't be afraid to try, and don't be embarassed to ask, the staff were more than happy to help. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  3. As Iโ€™ve already said, DC Rivals took 4 months, but that was a much more complex construction process. If there arenโ€™t any delays, I can see track construction complete within 3 months. After that theyโ€™ve got to build the station/maintenance building, queue area, landscaping, pathways, theming and then also testing. In the renders/video we have seen all this rock work... what are the chances they will actually build all this I really hope they do, especially on the back of the SkyVoyager building so it isnโ€™t just a white backdrop. And it will make the coaster even more exciting if you are twisting and turning between and around rock work

  4. I had a check. And it's defiantly not them testing. The vehicles were still wrapped up this morning. I think it's the shadows of the catwalk. But that was very hard to determine because I got to the limit of the pixels. But, the support poles for Sledgehammer arrived. And assembling of Sledgehammer will start this week! There will also be a half spin mode to allow people in the Green Category to go on with an Adult.

  5. I Still prefer Wipeout because the theming had a bit more heart, and it ran a better cycle. Vortex had the potential to be quite good (And I do prefer top spins overall), but it runs a bit of an average cycle that doesnโ€™t fully utilise the tricks a Top Spin can do, and the theming is a bit too modern, and the fountains donโ€™t do enough IMO. If it was like Talocan, but with sandy Atlantis ruins it would have been sick. Rampage I think also doesnโ€™t do much with its capabilities. It does a couple of manoeuvres with arms in opposite directions, but spends 80% of the cycle doing flips like a normal top spin, with maybe a tiny bit of offset between the arms creating a constant tilt.

  6. Pretty much. Steel Coasters usually go up pretty quick when they go vertical. I doubt it. Still a lot to get done besides getting the layout finished - landscaping, theming, safety checks, testing, employee training, etc. As it has a different audience they probably aren't worried about competing with Leviathan.

  13. If you speak to the entry host at the attractions they are normally happy to take you through the exit to test the seat before queuing up to make sure that you fit. Alternatively if you speak to Guest Services they will be able to assist you fairly easily
