  6. In all honesty, Sydney is a bit of a shitshow. I know some are very much eager to get updates of this coaster, but just let it be - you'll get to ride it... someday (only if a CERTAIN part of the population wrap their heads around the idea that anti-lockdown protests ≠ no more lockdown). Perhaps somehow getting in touch with a construction worker who's keen to send updates could work (by all means, don't stand outside the fence and yell for their numbers 💀)? Just don't take my word for it, Sydney had the chance to avoid this mess.

  7. Yeah you might want to check that claim again that all track is complete. In the above photo there is clearly missing trackwork that still needs to be installed. There is plenty of work that needs completion yet as well- the building of the load/unload station, the completion of the floor near the station and the queue area, the installation of the launch tyres in several locations and other theming aspects. Thats just what we can see. I am sure there are various other systems that are not readily visible that have not yet even been touched. There is ample work yet on the coaster that still needs to come to fruition. Patience is the key- it will happen. However, at this point, the installation of trackwork has not yet been completed.

  8. Because, that's entirely the only conclusion we can come to. We've got marketing teams on the gold coast that schedule engagement posts for attractions that aren't even open at the time they're posted due to maintenance - and you think they're capable of collating a mailing list from multiple membership, subscriber and annual pass systems? I would not be surprised in the slightest if they maintained their master list in Excel, and relied on manually updating it either. For the record, my whole family has had Dreamworld passes, and I never, ever, received any of their special offers or passholder emails. I didn't bother to follow it up with them because Parkz. But I shouldn't have to - they capture that info at time of signup - it shouldn't need to be. TL:DR - it's not always the recipients' fault. Thankyou for calling DaptoTechSupport.

  9. It’s not in junk filters mate. I’m a little more tech savvy than to be complaining about their marketing lists having not checked my own spam folders

  10. Have to say it was a real empty feeling having to leave movieworld at 3:30 yesterday and the feeling was consistent across many. it was 27 degrees and perfect weather, the park was really busy. And they shut up shop early. I’m supportive of reduced hours on weekdays, but it’s stupidity closing early on a Saturday. and whilst I didn’t specifically look everywhere for it, I saw no visible entry signage stating the park would be closing earlier
