  2. I think the ship theme was great. Like riding the high seas. "Please hold on to the railings at all times" Haha..best part of the ride was trying to not hold on and not fall over.

  3. The park map that has been updated to show the new Velocity Falls precinct is now available on the Jamberoo website. Interestingly, the names of the individual 2 attractions have now been revealed- the Stinger, which is the trap door slides and the imaginatively named Octo, for the new 8 lane racing mat slides. Not yet sure of the timeline for the opening of these new attractions , but hopefully it is by early to mid January.

  4. There was some spam removed from this thread over the weekend which might have caused this. I've just tried permanently deleting the posts rather than hiding it like we normally do, so let me know if it happens again in coming days.

  5. How do you feel about Doomsday theming on a twin hammer?

  7. I agree the rake is a lot worse as far as branding goes. The WB logo is iconic, classy and harkens back to the golden age of cinema history (as well as Loony Toons) so its use as a logo doesn't feel cheap. The Village logo reminds me of renting shitty quality VHS tapes from VideoEzy, so you know nostalgic but not exactly something that screams 'quality'.

  8. The Wild Mouse is indeed having some are-tracking work taking place. It's also having some pretty serious work conducted to its support structure. It's all standard work tho.

  9. Went to have a look yesterday, the old Big Dipper carriage looks like it is getting repainted, some of the track from the Wild Mouse is there as well. Two questions for everyone? Are they completely re-tracking the Wild Mouse? Or what exactly is going on? Is there a chance Sledgehammer will go back to 360 mode? It seems a shame if it doesn’t.

  10. It's down to a handful of track segments now. The train has been winched out of the station and is up in the maintenance position. Really cool how much the reverse spiral on steel taipan stands out now

  11. Just to beat the dead horse further, for large part of its history DW had a water park not just next door, but literally included as part of the park, 2 water rides where you got wet, as well as a boat ride where you stayed dry. Water rides are popular. I don't think DW should build a rapids ride, but a quality modern log ride or shoot the chutes would be a pretty easy win.
