  2. I don't think people are doubting your school, but I also don't think its logical to extrapolate that across the state. My sons school has gained teachers.

  3. Yeah agreed. I belive you've been told your those were the numbers so I don't think you're lying or being dishonest, but that seems dubious

  4. Imagine how big of an FU🖕🏼to Dreamworld it would be if Movieworld added a Mack spinning coaster like Ride to Happiness 🤣

  5. I think the crowds were bigger last summer because the weather was nicer And I believe before that (2019) was one of their biggest summers in a while, with the carpark overflowing for a week

  6. I mean you can't shrink the park and think people won't notice. I've been saying it for a long time, 1 coaster isn't going to do it. They need a sugar hit of new shit. It'll be interesting to see if Ardent have the stomach for it after this year. One thing I would say though is WnW is down this year, mostly due to weather, but I'd say this is true at WWW too. To what extent is the fairly empty car park at DW down to WWW doing shit and DW doing OK? Like ok they don't have 10,000, but they might have gone from say 3,500 days to 4,500 days? I think 'its quiet' is missing some context. How are they going compared to Xmas '16, '17, '18 & '19?

  8. I think that's why it's perfect for Sea World. If you're the tween/teen/adult family member being dragged to a day at Sea World, there's at least one ride that caters to satiate the thrill tickbox for guests. It's low capacity and thus matches exactly the kind of demand it would attract, and placing next to Jet Rescue means it leverages nearby guest flow and existing amenities to ensure it's used. Let's remember that Sea World was an anaemic park in the way of attractions for many years because they skewed too family and that the whole reason why Atlantis is being built is to try and undo that skew.

  9. In the family suspended layout I do love how the track dives underground, I’ve always wanted a coaster on the GC to do that (I know ST sort of does, but not entirely). I do hope one of the parks gets a dive coaster one day (I think DW would be a good choice because it could be too similar to GL if MW got it). But the one coaster I dream our parks will get one day is a flying coaster. The one at Universal Japan is still my favourite coaster ever and would love to be able to continuously experience something like that in Aus. In saying all that, I think some family attractions are needed most at MW and I think 3 coasters are a nice choice for that.

  10. It’s more to allow time for schools and the edu dept to adequately find a way to fill the 3,000 odd teachers, assistants and admin staff roles that have been lost due to vax mandates. My son’s school has over 30% of the teaching faculty not returning, that’s not even including those in the admin functions, and it’s similar at surrounding schools. It’s also due to the fact those first 2 weeks of school were to be the predicted “peak” in Qld, which is already happening in nsw and vic. @Park Addict 93 what are you concerned about being improbable?
