  1. We have cancelled our memberships after having them since they offered them. I don't recall seeing a $189 peace offering though. Went to SeaWorld yesterday as a last visit. First time getting to ride Trident. (Every other time it has been down or have been told it's too windy to run, funny we have seen it running on windier days) Now trident is a joke for a major theme park ride. The ride itself is ok. However we were advised when lining up that it only cycles every 15 mins due to the ride op procedure. Now the middle seat is not for anyone above a certain height and most that will fit in that seat might be bit scared of the height. So most cycles were 2 adults. With 12 seats makes 24 riders + 2/3 kids. I don't know who at village thinks that a ride pushing 96 people an hr is a good attraction. My advice to people going to SeaWorld is do this ride at park opening. Apart from this Leviathan only opened for 1.5 hrs late in the day. Vortex went down and needed work. Jet rescue down for maintenance as is battle boats (as they should in winter) Even the penguins were down for maintenance 😋 probably needed to replace their batteries 😂. Even thunder lake had a stoppage mid show for 5 mins cause part of the ski ramp came off and they had to tow the broken piece to shore. This is for their safety I know but you would think it would be checked to see if looking dodgy before showtimes. Some smaller kiddy rides also closed. But they still crank up the membership 🤔 When we have gone the last few time we have eaten at the tavern. So it's not like we don't want to support to parks however village have lost our $
  2. A ride system like Harry Potter and the forbidden journey. 👍
  3. Was inspired to do a CGI render. Can't wait to ride it again. I just hope SW/village look after the ride cause I have heard they can get rough if they don't. .
  4. Incorrect. I lined up today cause they advertised it as a brand new ride open from 2nd Dec. I wouldn't have lined up the week or two previously if I knew it was soft open and they were still having issues with a new ride and that It might be a very long wait or not get a ride at all if i line up during soft openings. Which is why I wouldn't go. Should have soft open from 2 Dec and opened 2 weeks later imo. I also don't get the issues, it's a brand, designer and manufacturer who have built this ride in other location. Yes the layout is different but the control systems and train I would have thought would have had the bugs ironed out of it many years ago. Also the fact it's nearly 2 years late and still not right 🤔 However I'm still a massive fan. Great ride. Great theming. 🐉
  5. Well we arrived at 9.30 and went straight to Levi. Closed for 2 hours waiting in a queue outside (the inside queue was already full) and got a ride at 12pm. Ride I'd give 9/10 myself and family loved it. Fast, zippy and the theming was 👌 The opening weekend for Atlantis was a let down imo. As 3 of your "new rides" at one point we're all closed. Not a good look and people's comments were not great in the area. No idea why trident 🔱 wasn't open. I understand Fridays opening delayed due to wind but what was today's excuse. They were cycling it often but no riders. I must say the triple seats on it will be great for us being a family of 3. However not so much if you're a couple and have a third wheel dumped with you. Haha At one stage today. Leviathan, trident, vortex, storm, jet rescue we're all closed. Which was no good to see. Another thing they could have is a gift shop or food area in the precinct. I purchased a leviathan bendable plushy for my son as he faced his fear and rode it. But it's at the exit of the park. I bet if it was at the ride area and a staff member wore it around their shoulders/neck like I was wearing it they would sell heaps more. (Photo of plush below) Disney did it with avatar creatures I believe. Another cool thing I saw in gift shop was this wooden carriage model. I would have grabbed it but thought twice at $50. So the family plushy was enough for $30 Would have bought a shirt too but the design i likes was only in kids sizes. Staff said they had adult ones but couldn't find them. If they can smooth out the operations and fix the downtime issues it will be a favorite of mine, up there with Rivals (I like wood coasters) and a sure hit with everyone.
  6. Have to wonder if they could remove MDMC and put in one if these, utilizing rocky hollow area as well and both sides of the tower to save some $. Hmm. Food for thought.
  7. I'd say on pull back play sounds of "I don't think we are in Kansas anymore toto" and the the storm. And then on the return lift hill play. "Kick heels 👠👠 3 times and say to yourself. There's no place like home" and you going back. Just an idea. Can work.
  8. They have also mounted 7 or 8 flood lights on top of the monorail track to light up Leviathan. No monorail will be running on that any time soon.
  9. Ride will be down for maintenance a month after opening for retracking due to old age. 🤔
  10. I think the ship theme was great. Like riding the high seas. "Please hold on to the railings at all times" Haha..best part of the ride was trying to not hold on and not fall over.
