  1. Nemesis wouldn't work for me either
  2. RCT3 gives you the chance to BUILD your own Roller Coasters and theme parks, but if you want to be your own ride-op, then check this out! Over at towerstimes.co.uk they have 5 ride simulators for 5 Alton Towers rides (Ripsaw, Submission, Blade, Nemesis and Air). You control the harnesses, the stopping and in some cases the ride pattern, so... Air Simulator Nemesis Simulator Blade Simulator Submission Simulator Ripsaw Simulator enjoy what u think?
  3. Yeah Gazza, it was mainly just the old hag in SCSC that got on my tits. The rest were pretty much friendly and kind!
  4. i tried to get out the emergancy exit but couldnt oh well..
  5. We had a group of 5 and we were planning a 3 and a 2, she split us so that 1 of us had to go alone... that didn't make my day. And Alton Towers just didn't do it for me, in terms of theming and presentation, MW is a knotch above AT - even though AT has "better" rides.
  6. Yeah, and when we were inline for Scooby, there was this really mean girl who was like ordering us to get into groups of 4, so annoying... and eep! Batwing... next time I go to QLD you're coming with me and we're going on it >:]
  7. im a movie world virgin ok, well we got there early as usual, but the queue's were still massive. we had to wait even longer because we had a summer pass. but yeah, once we got in it was awesome! i really like movie world, before i go into detail - this was my favourite park all round. there's so many things to do and see, and not to mention the theming is perfect. anyhoo - scooby doo! im a wimp when it comes to dark rides, so i screamed alot on this. i loved the lift and the backwards drop, the lighting was good and oh - forgot to mention the wait was only about 5 mins - so this was a great ride! the part where you wind around really throws you! i rode this 3 times overall. tehe, im scared of heights, and it wasnt until my mum told me she was terrified of the height that i realized how high we actually were! next was wild west falls! again another awesome ride. perfect theming and i loved the last drop! go soaked after WWF it was time for.. SUPERMAN omgsh... i was really scared of this, but i was like "just do it jack JUST DO IT" so i did, i was sitting in the front carriage. i was expecting to just leave the station and launch, BUT OMG! i was sooo wrong.. the part before the ride when you're in the subway is soo good.. even though it just made me twice as scared! then there was the launch... being from perth, there's nothing over here, and even though i've been to alton towers, i didnt get a chance to go on RITA. so yeah, first launch EVA! it was.... the. scariest. thing. ive. ever. experienced. the feeling you get is just... woah! and then you go over the top, and around and arggghh! it was just the best coaster in the world i loved it after that... *gulp* LW. argh! this thing.. nearly... killed me. ITS CRAP! the end. because im lazy, ill skip the rest of the rides - but then again, i wouldn't wana spoil it for those who havent been yet. definatly ranking my fav park EVAAAAAAA p.s - i didnt go on batwing. im scared of heights, but i said i'd go on it after the stunt show (which rocked may i add)..however it closed already. i regret it. yays pros: clean theming alot to do/see diverse selection of attractions cons: the staff weren't as friendly as WWW and DW.
  8. Well this was my first ever time going to Dreamworld We left early and got there about 9.30, but the rides were already operating. Luckily there was hardly any people in the park. In the morning I wasn't feeling too well, so I decided to go on Runaway Reptar before I tackle the big rides. Even though it small and not that fast, it was fun but it didn't help my sickness. We went to the Cyclone next. Ok, the first thing about the Cyclone that I didn't like is the queue line. It would be an awesome queue line if it was full, but when there's no-one in the park going around and around is just annoying. Anyhoo, on the ride I was sitting near the front, dreading it, only because I felt sick. To be honest, it was tame and boring. I only liked the loop. After the ride came the second thing I didn't like is the exit line, ITS JUST AS LONG AS THE ENTER QUEUE! That really got on my tits. After Cyclone we went on Reefdiver, which was fun! Then we went on the Claw. The Claw, hands down my favourite ride at Dreamworld. It's so fun! I luuuuuuurv the feeling you get when you whoosh down ;0 so joice! I ended up riding the Claw over and over and over again in the arvo. The Wipeout followed the Claw...and uggh. There was a delay because something went wrong, so we were in the queue for about half an hour. To be honest, I would rather queue up 2hours for runaway reptar then 30 mins for this, it's just not what it's cracked up to be. Although, i do think the shark in the water is cute! good theming as well... After the Wipeout we headed for the rapids, that was fun! GOT ABSOLUTELY SOAKED! then the log flume, soaked again! after that we just did whatever, i didnt go on the tot/gd. it was a fun day! Pro's Clean, friendly staff, very good day out Con's queue's
  9. We're not going for the whole day.
  10. I've decided I will go on the Green Room, just as long as the lines aren't gigantic. There's not a huge amount of rides (well, compared to WnW anyway) so I think I might just go on it And doglover, cheers for that I'm going tomorrow... TOMORROW! OMG! Plane tonight, then check-in, then breaky then we're off Gonna be loish! haha, loish..nah it will be awesome. I'm looking forward to the RIP + the BRO, funnily enough not so much the GR and the STHC...
  11. Cheers myk. I think I might skip out Green Room and head straight for the rip - I'll do the tornado at WnW.
  12. How packed is it exactly? Give me rough waiting times for some of the rides.
  13. Haven't been on here in a while - hope you all had good Christmas's / New Years or whatever you celebrate over the holiday period! Anyway, on Monday I'm flying over to Queensland for the FIRST TIME EVAAAA! We're going to White Water World, Movie World, Wet 'n' Wild and then either Dreamworld or Sea World. Probably Dreamworld, but heh, I'm easy. I'm really looking forward to it - I do need a holiday Anyhoo, a while back I asked for some park planning and advice, just want to know if you have any more or tips or tricks to getting round some of the parks and get what you want done, etc etc etc. If you're heading down to some of the parks next week, let me know and if I seeya around I will say "yeys its <username>" hurrah
  14. Hey - would just like to ask the same if that's alright, heading up there and we will be hitting the park on Tuesday - so what should I tackle first? Last? Anytime of the day? Sorry to intrude Swanny!
  15. How awesome does that look! Can't wait to ride it Alll night long.. or not.
  16. The reason for the slide lines being bigger then the flat ride lines is because Rampage and Power-surge have a large capacity, so it's expected that slides have a longer wait, but I could be wrong. Where the ripped out toboggan is, I think we can expect a log flume, if not... uhh... who knows. Something cheap, probably.
  17. That sorta sounds like you're expecting a Wooden Coaster. I'm sure whatever their next attraction is, it'll be good, so don't get all worried about them wrecking the theming. As far as I know, they haven't stuffed it up yet and I doubt they'd stuff it up in the future.
  18. I love the box track, it's my favourite pastime. But still, IMO the number of Intamin rides sticks out far more then SFMM, which is why I think they should go with something a little different next time. I am a fan of the game, I love it, it's my favourite pastime.
  19. Cheers corker! Will def take a look... thx once again!
  20. Hahaha... I get nervous about stand-ups, I don't know what to expect! Glad you liked it but!
  21. GUHHHHH!!!!!!!! You got to ride Kraken!! *scolds* Looks friggin' awesome! Love the photos.. aww the penguins are so cute =D
  22. It does! I only heard about it a couple of weeks ago, but it's really turning into something big. Cedar Point impresses me with the hype their coasters get. I only wish they'd be more versatile with their coaster choices... 3 coasters with the same track?? (TTD, MF and Mav) I'd like to see another B&M... or something record breaking. Maybe a Multi-dimension coaster?? Hmm... but yeah. Looks hot!
  23. Pretty much what Gazza said, it's easier reading forum posts then a "fan" site which just links you everywhere. It has potential, but it's not official, so there's your dream blown up. Sorry mate, just can't see why it's neccessary.
  24. IMDB and Wikipedia aren't very reliable resources. Example to proove you wrong about IMDB. A few weeks ago, the SAW IV page said: "Jessica Alba will be starring in SAW IV." it also said Jigsaw's baby will be the new jigsaw. Hmm.. pretty sure we'd know if Jigsaw had a son by now, also not that the new writers would want a cheesy story like that. Hmm... So yeah - don't trust everything that's written on that page.
  25. I'd prefer a launcher for Matrix, flying is a little too... I dunno. I wouldn't like a flying coaster for the Matrix. In other news, pretty sure this topic is about new coasters for 2007, not ride suggestions for MW. Just thought you'd like to know.
