  1. As it is more likely that Movie World will be the next park to get a major thrill ride (well I think so anyway), what would you choose if you could? Very hypothetical, but its interesting to think, when there are so many good coaster types/designs around at the moment.
  2. Anyone able to get out there monday or tuesday? I wanna do a few hours at Movieworld too. Let me know. webmaster@traffic-central.com (that's my msn aswell) ICQ: 14343370
  3. I definetly wanna go overseas in the next couple of years. I wanna do the southern californian parks (kbf, dl/dca and sfmm), orlando parks, which would include busch gardens tampa bay. Then if I had the money, Cedar point, sfwoa, pki and kennywood.
  4. Something like Colossos at Heide Park, Germany woul dbe heaven on wheels Its Practically all airtime hills and bunnyhops (out'n'back) and its pretty long. http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery988....htm?Picture=16 Well, dreaming is fun, but I doubt it would happen.
  5. And the gold-coast's only woodie. But I don't think wooden coasters are easy to market to the general public I could be wrong.
  6. Well, considering that I found Seaworld's Freefall slide to be the best waterslide I've ever been on, I hope they get one of those. Actually, since wet'n'wild replace/modified the speedslide, I'd say I'd rather go to seaworld's slides the wet'n'wild just for those two things.
  7. Deja-Vu clone would be good for that space, as it has a relatively small footprint. But do movie-world really need another vekoma invert? Plus shuttles have ****ty capacity. Is there even room for a woodie there?
  8. Seems to me its basically an inverted bersion of road runner express (a normal verkoma rollerskater).
  9. Yeah, I'd be interested in going if I could get in half price. My movie-world pass doesn't help by any chance? If anyone has a date in mind....cause I gotta let my work know before rosters get done up (they do 2-3 weeks at a time). Cheers PS where'd you get the shop-a-dockets from Richard, Woolies?
  10. What company would you liek to see do the thunderbolt remake, I'd personally like to see intamin or B&M, but arrow seem to be the most likely. If arrow do it I don't think we will see any great elements, such as a 0-g roll or some regular bunny hills
  11. I definelty can't get out of work this sunday I'm hoping to get out to dreamworl dan dmovieworld a couple of times each before summer holidays hit though.
  12. I wonder if that means the max action will cost more to renew for current holders...I don't have to renew mine till feburary
  13. I'm supposed to be working next sunday, but I might be able ot get out of it. Anyone else interested? Oh, are nsw school holidays back by then?
  14. I saw this a while ago, the movie world ad for schooby do where it says, "thrillnetwork.com said this ride has everything" - then text on the screen, Richard Wilson - Thrillnetwork.com I remember that movie world employee hanging around on those forums, cause someone posted something about scoobydoo and he/she posted a really clinical, pre done description of the ride.
  15. Rabbid and I are probably heading out tomorrow.
