I am looking at going to the Saturday Movie session but don't want to spend the whole day there. If we arrived at say 2-3pm would that give us enough time to do everything? Also is there public transport running after the movie or would we have to catch a taxi?

Just letting everyone know that these dates haven't changed and that they have now been posted on the myfun website.

Here is what I would do and I guess it is very similar to what most of you guys have said. How come we can see it but they can't? *Fix or replace the mine ride *Revamp the rapid ride the theme doesn't really make sense and its been that way for years. *Put a show on the river boat like they used to. * fix up/get rid of everything that is broken (e.g. sky way) *Introduce a new thrill ride as it has been quite a few years since a decent ride has been put in the place. *If a ride is getting old and run down remove it and replace it with a ride of better or equal quality -the thunderbolt and mine ride were two of my favourite rides and what have they been replaced with that was decent? And prices still go up. The main thing they need to do is bring back the magic of the place like how I remember it as a kid with Kenny the Koala and how everything wasn't so commercialised. Dreamworld is really slipping last year was the first year I went to Qld and didn't go, it used to be my favourite park but Movieworld now is.

I so hope they keep these dates!!

we are there from the 7-14th but our flight doesnt get in till 1.30 so we can't really go on the Wednesday, so I really hope they change it till the 9th instead but they probably won't. I'd rather Superman to be open out of the two.

Now Superman is closed from the 8-16th as well! Can't they hold it off one more day? I wish they'd stop stuffing us around with the dates we can go one minute and the next we cant!

Thanks for the help guys. Just another question though we where thinking about going to WWW for the day before screamworld which would leave about two hours to fill in before screamworld starts. Does anyone have any ideas of what we could do for those two hours like are there any food places etc near by? Thanks

Hey I have never been to screamworld before. Is it just the 5 thrill rides that are open or a couple of others open to? Also what is the best way to get back to the gold coast after it finishes, is there buses or would a taxi be best? Thanks
