Could it be possible that bussy was wrong?!Like I said, Working on both rides at the same time<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Driving eastbound yesterday afternoon I did a double take as I saw the arm of the zodiac in the air! It was so nostalgic looking in the rear view mirror and seeing the spaceprobe and right behind it zodiac.

Sitting next to me on my desk at work is a WL fairy floss bucket ... we use it to prop the window open when the AC fails :-P

The M4 gets a nice pleasant smell from the Eastern Creek area when driving down at night *vomits*It'll give me great confidence to know that Coles' national food distribution centre is across the road from Sydney's biggest peutriscible waste tip. Anyone whohas taken a drive out there over the past few months would know exactly what Im talking about. Think I'll avoid Coles.. at least Wollies is about 10km further west.. Zordmaker -
Please elaborate with what happened! If it was some soccer mum whose brat toddler was doing nothing more than crying I hope you punched her in the face :mad:And that mattered when? They sure didn't like it when they would get stuck for 40 mins on a 40 degree day... "My baby is dying, my baby is dying, you get us down now!" Friggen -

You'd be interested to know that I happen to work too... fulltime as well! AND go to uni at nights... But let's not get into a circle jerk with availability on the Internet mmkay (it wasn't a dig at you for not replying promptly, trust me).. You're eager to sass me with "Have you read any of the posts since I first picked up that piece of incorrect information?" yet never checked the facts yourself... But I'm not holding an E-Grudge I'm keen for people to pick up errors/ommisisions on the site.. Wazza has been especially helpful in dates and factual information...Sorry Mickazee for taking so long to reply but some of us have to sleep and then go to work the next day. -
Still waiting on Wonderbus to clear up exactly what's wrong with what I've written.I also noticed that the Wonderland History site still has that incorrect information on it. -
That's what I thought too. When it was brought up, I modified the info removing 'with passengers on board'. Now it reads:
The Demon was known to frequently break down with instances of it jamming on the second lift hill (requiring guests to be walked off the ride). On one occasion the train released prematurely from the second lift hill causing it to come to a stop inside the boomerang section -
I have fixed up your name on my testbed machine (linux box running apache/mysql that I develop the site on) but haven't updated the tables on my hosting site... Thanks for reminding me :-P

If you would be so kind as to point out what is actually wrong with what is posted on the site go right ahead.Have you read any of the posts since I first picked up that piece of incorrect information? -
From what I've gathered, its been confirmed that The Demon hasn't stopped on the boomerang with passengers on board, but, it's still uncertain as to whether it has stopped on the boomerang during a test run etc. Thoughts? The Demon was known to frequently break down with instances of it jamming on the second lift hill (requiring guests to be walked off the ride). On one occasion the train released prematurely from the second lift hill causing it to come to a stop inside the boomerang section.

Not sure why my last thread was deleted, but, the ride database has been added to the WLhistory site.
-
The ride database at www.----URL removed for non-compliance with Community Guidelines----.com has now been completed...sorta! The foundations have been put in place anyway and should be a complete list of all the rides at WL (except the skyrider...haven't put that in). I'm progressively going to keep adding data to the ride DB but so far Beastie, Zodiac and Bountys Revenge have been completed. If anyone wants to volunteer editing the ride database let me know...You don't need to know HTML, I've built an interface that allows you to modify the ride info. The next step is creating the media gallery where you can view the full size photos of each ride etc. Slowly but surely!

In todays Sunday Telegraph (13/3/05 p3):
I''d like to see the photos ;-)A STUNT turned into a complicated emergency rescue when a man fell 15m inside the Space Probe7 ride at the defunct theme park, Australia's Wonderland. The man, 30, was rushed to Westmead hospital conscious but, with suspected spinal injuries at 6.30am yesterday. He told ambulance officers that he and his female friend intended to climb the 65m ride to take photos. They crawled inside the Probe's narrow shaft and had climbed 25m to an interior platform, but the man fell on a platform 10m below. -
Mirrors as promised: http://www.----URL removed for non-compliance with Community Guidelines----.com/Wonderbuz...shBeast348k.wmv http://www.----URL removed for non-compliance with Community Guidelines----.com/Wonderbuz...z_Demon384k.wmv Out of curiosity...on the footage of the bushbeast it appears as if the footage was taken shortly after the ride was built. There appears to be maintainance vehicles alongside the coaster and much of the surroundings is dirt... Is this the only known footage from the construction of the park?

Fantastic video there... I'll mirror both of them for you on the wlhistory site. Speaking of which, apologies for the lack of action there. I've been flat out with a heap of other stuff for like a month. But, I haven't forgotten about it!
-
I had to google what BOP meant I don't think I'm paying close enough attention here... *taps nose*
-
Haven't really had time to do much work lately but i'm in the process of building the backend for the ride database :-)

* Housos torture kittens *Housos can't afford tickets to WL (and things like condoms which stop them from reproducing) Therefore, by deductive reasoning housos never attended WL and kitten torture will continue on.

Hey buzz, great images there! Do you have any more floating around?
-
Yet again, the site has been updated www.----URL removed for non-compliance with Community Guidelines----.com The park history section has been beefed up and is near completion (although still lots of info to go). My next major focus is on the media gallery and ride database. Please fact check what I've put up and get back to me with corrections :-) And SeanM, any more of those photos?

Ok fess up, what's the weirdest thing you've found that's fallen from the ride? Has anyone thrown up mid air and caused an in-air-collision? *inquiring mind wants to know*
New Sydney Park.
