Great news! Just in time for the Holidays and as the weather is heating up. This will also help with Operations by having People stacked and ready to be counted in to the pre- boarding rooms. Now if they can just add a small bit of footage somewhere that demonstrates the boarding process.

Dude, get down off your High Horse, please. I am a little surprised at such aggressive retort by a Moderator of all People on this forum - especially pointed toward someone like myself who never engages in rubbish like this as you should be well aware. I simply offered my opinion and as someone who has spent many years in the Theme Park industry and as an avid Theme Park Enthusiast, nothing more. Saying you are a buff at something does not mean you are an expert - nor did I ever suggest that I am. I appreciate the valid opinions of other's and happily accept them when delivered in a pleasant manner. So thank you for insulting my opinion as Juvenile when I suggested that you worked for VTP. I'm sorry but from your posts over the years you have always suggested that you were involved with AOS? I stand corrected but I am sure anyone in this site that has been here for ever would share the same view. I really don't understand why it's such a big deal and like everyone else on this forum appreciate the same level of respect that I give. This is not that. Feel free to delete this post Mods and can we please get back.on track. Thanks.

Fair points @djrappa but from an Australian Theme Park perspective, overall this ride punches way above it's weight. Everyone has their opinions and we all appreciate different points of views. Sure this ride could be better - and still can be! Not sure if the Audio has been tweaked since you rode or the very fact that that is pretty much your personal Specialist background at VTP that you are being a little critical. Frankly, people in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones because nothing good has come out of those Parks on the Show front for a very, very long time!

Haunted Mansions at Disney Parks. Now THAT is a Pre-show that's entertaining. Anyway back on topic. With a tightening up of Operations and a few little amendments here and there, I reckon what DW have with SV can compliment the ride. They really just need to work on informing the GP better about the loading process with what they have, which in turn should speed up load time Regardless, it is so fantastic to finally have a flying Theatre in Australia. The experience will easily become a favourite among GC Theme Parks. Oh and those 'bumpy' motion effects are most definitely intentional! - you can tell because it is at the moments interrupted by likes of going through a Watrtfall and the Fireworks. The motion is for the most part smoothe and executes the sensation of 'swooping' downward beautifully - imo just as well as Soarin does! Those moments are truly thrilling! Seats are definitely smaller than Disney, but can still accommodate most larger guests. The "mist" fx are perhaps not so convincing as they spurt out with a bit of a PSSST sound effect and some of the smells are a bit off (ie grapes smell like lolly grapes).. but what do real Grapes smell like anyway? As a sound buff, I think the Audio is BRILLIANT and anyone who appreciates that kind of thing should really enjoy it. Also the Music Score is OUTSTANDING and frankly Disney quality. The soundtrack is emotional and powerful. Sure the image quality could be sharper - which is still possible to achieve with upgrades as years roll by. When the ride finishes, People even clap their hands - something I haven't seen in an Aussie Theme Park in years. Sorry MW and SW but with SV I truly believe DW now have the best Show/family attraction, something for them to be very proud of.

What like the Q for Superman Escape? Without so much as your precious mobile phone - fair reason why I cannot stand a wait much less than 15 minutes for that one!

I got to experience Sky Voyager for myself yesterday. This is truly a ground breaking attraction and one that our Aussie Theme Parks should be very proud, if not least envious of! SV is 100% the Industry game-changer that DW needs right now and possibly the sleeper hit for Gold Coast Theme Parks this Summer and beyond. Please take my advice when I say It is best experienced from Gondola 2 (middle) on the ground floor. Enjoy!

The lower floor is on ground level and completely wheelchair accessible. I am sure they have a procedure to accommodate guests with disabilities. The lower floor is frankly the better experience anyway with Gondola 2 in the middle offering the best 10 seats.

No need to apologise! My point is that when it comes to Food&Bev in our Australian Theme Parks, we are simply not offering our GP what they are asking for/want.

Rick's Market Place excuse me? Did we just decide to change movie history with an otherwise iconic MW facade? Frankly, this looks about as effortless as any other Australian Theme Park food offering before it. Have we not learned anything? -Apparently the People of Australian Gold Coast Theme Parks have TiT's all knowledge on what modern Australia (Or ThemeParks in general for that matter) taste like.. or what practically anyone wants! - Better still a family of 5, where a 'measlely' lunch price of 'just' 104 bux? Hmm. Yup, nice to know you are in touch with your Crowd Big G, well done!
  14. Thanks as always Parkz! I didn't know Funtime were building Trident? Forgive my ignorance but I don't associate this company with more permanent rides that push boundaries on Height, conditions, etc.

    Fright Nights 2019

With premovie ads etc it was just over 3 hours, so regardless it was a long time to be sitting anywhere! Rotten Tomatoes have it at about 90% audience and 68% critic's, so overall positive. Terrific Character development and more jumps than the first installment. Plenty of Surreal moments too. I thought it was about as close to the book as you could make the movie without the film having to run significantly longer. In saying that, the book had more than enough content that they could have broken the whole thing down to 3 full length features.

Watched IT Chapter 2 today. Wows's that's a long flick. But beautifully done and reminded me so much of Stranger Things. Ironic given ST was inspired by IT? Can't wait to see what they do with the Maze!🎈

    Movie World Maintenance 2019

So.. after you exit Scooby-doo you find the entire back of the Park is closed right now? Village Theme Parks put out a gushy Ad campaign and then they do this. OK that's fucked.
  18. I love this! MW owns Fright Nights while DW provides a Family orientated alternative. Power to them..

Bugga.. As much as that is a shame it's probably a more sound Business decision to stretch such a big total investment over a longer time. Guess they will also be keeping the Skyflyer a little longer then huh?

    Luna Park Melbourne update

When you ride Pandamonium, before you get on, watch the carriages carefully. There will be two (opposite each other) that operate more swiftly than the others do. When the cars do the change over swing, it is these two cars that you want to be riding on as they switch back the other way every single time and give the most exhilarating experience! Often most the others won't. I love/hate this ride. LOVE IT for the thrills and the G's. HATE IT for the headache it often gives me after 😊 Oh and Movie World, you need to put in a HUSS Super Jump if LP won't... and... STAT! PLEEEEEEEEEASE!
