  1. I was there yesterday, and it looked horrible. It not like full on drop, it has something that slows it down untill it gets half way and then it speeds up to get over the loop. And it got stuck today, it was on the news. Got stuck going up the lift hill thing. The people on it got a long time to look at the sky.

  2. I don't know how much room you guys think LPS has, but with these two rides space is pretty much filled. They can't cram every space full of rides because there has to be room for people to...you know...walk around in and whatever. The only other possible space I can think of is on top of the Dodgems next to the Tumble Bug, but it'd be almost impossible to stick a ride up there.
I still think that moving the little kids rides up next to the tumble bug would free more space in malony's corner. You could fit a huss rainbow or something eles in the space of the little kids rides. Wondercam
  3. I always wear a rashie and i had no trouble getting down any slides at WnW. Actually, i loved the twister when I was there and went down it many times with no trouble.

but i am sorta abit scared to try incase the problem of not being able to slide down, because of my bad experiences.
What do you mean "bad experiences"? Wondercam
  4. Thanks Gazza, the photos are great by the way! Yeah, i have been doing some research for all these parks and Alton towers comes as the best theme in england and is also voted top on this poll. After being corrected about Blackpool, by three or four members, i think it deserves second followed clostly by thorpe park then chessington then oakwood then Legoland and all the others tied on last. So i have suggested Alton to the choir master and he also like alton so hopefully we could be going to what seems like a really good theme park! Only if we had of been going to america. Six Flags MM all the way!!!!!!! :P Thanks Everyone, Wondercam

  5. Hi all I would like to thank everyone for posting/voteing in this topic. I have seen how most people liked alton tower/blackpool pleasure beach the most and have taken that on board. Can i just ask (gazza plus others) how do you changle polls? Please keep posting/voteing! Wondercam

  6. Anyway, where are going to be based?
Well thats the thing, i don't know. I would guess London or Bristol. After thinking about it, Thorpe Park would not be good idea. If one of the 9 year old's went on SAW they would need counciling for years. :P Also we want more of a family park. I think alton towers would be the best. I really want to go there. The coasters look so much better than ours (i am sure they are)! Blackpool? I do remember seeing that theme park but it looked really cramped and horrible. Mabye it was the wrong one. And yes i do mean adventure Island (is there anyway to change the POLL?) Wondercam
  7. Hi all, A group at our school is going on a music tour and the music master likes theme parks quite alot. I might make some suggestion to him of what theme park to go to and i thought that i could ask you guys (your the experts!). Please choose your theme park and tell me why you like it. If you choose other please post it. Remember, there are people ranging from 9-18 years old. Also tell me if there is another one worthy to go into the poll or one worthy to be taken off ;), Wondercam

  8. More Attractions in coney island? Dosent sound to bad to me, but where would you put another real attraction? And what would you put in there? They did just open a small attraction, a mirror maze (its abit dogdy). I know they don't operate some of the smaller slides in there so somthing could go in there but what? another "puzzela" for parkz :P:D

  9. To be truthful t-rex, Ithought of these idea's while in a very boring maths lesson and couldnt think of anymore rides to go indoors. So when i wrote the post the other day i wrote it quickly so i put in a couple of dodgy rides. Maybe instead of that Booster thing there could be Indoor/outdoor Log Flume? Make it indoor to start with theming and that and then it streches out on to picnic area. the drop could be there. Also instead of a "spinning boat ride" (sounds Fun :P) You could put an arcade like timezone in there. only thing is there's stuff like that in coney's Island. I sure they would get heaps of money for teenagers. Any thoughts on indoor rides? Neb, Are you sure ranger/spider would not fit? The ranger thing at the easter show had such a small footprint. we could just get that one :) Mabye not the spider though.

  10. OK! My ideas are going to keep every ride in Luna Park but get better rides as well. Gazza or some one will point out the basic errors (im sure). But I don’t see how this could go wrong. OK, Here goes :D;) Start of with moving the little rides in malonys corner and putting next to the tumblebug. I think at the moment there are random chairs and tables there. No one sits up there because there are no food stores there. Get rid of them/relocate them. This will become a kid’s area because it has those little rides, dodgems, Coney Island and tumble bug (the little kids thrill ride) all not to far away. Move the spider between Coney Island and dodgems where there is nothing but bins there. Move the ranger where the old motion simulator used to be. Between the wild mouse and ?. Gives nice upside-down views of Sydney harbour! Then we have the whole Malonys Corner. I think put three buildings. One on the left, one on the right and one in the middle (but not between the two buildings, back further). The building on the left (facing the harbour) would on top have a Huss Rainbow facing the Harbour! On the bottom it would have a Themed Booster (two huss rides!) The one on the left would have a Claw on the top and a Spinning boat ride (Mack, kids ride). The last building would have a Revolting house (Mack) built into it and to please you a zipper and chaos. I would also like to see a froghopper where on the roof where tumble bug is. Also a Freefall drop tower (one of those circle ones where they spin slowly when going up). This would be in the middle of the building. I tried drawing this on paint but it didn’t upload. Two things I know your thinking. 1. A little cramped. I thought this too when I was writing it out. 2. Not enough space. Oh well :( Thoughts? Wondercam

  11. Hi and welcome to parkz! Um, please type with language that has the right spelling and that :) Yeah, i have been interested in Adventure world for a while. It seems your just a little bit interested as well. I would rate this theme park about 4th in Australia. I think a 'Claw' ride would go it well. (not a tacky, fun fair one). One like dreamworld's Wondercam

  12. No smoke at all, the final laser wasn't on, several other lights were out, but worst of all there was no music at all in the big main room
That sucks. When I rode it in 2004 it was the most amazing ride experience. But if they plan to keep it this way with no music, less mist and lighting effects its going to become boring. Am I right saying the track is very basic? I think it is the effects that make the ride so good. Wondercam
