  1. I doubt the first idea would happen. Our parks don't have big budgets, and I think they would rather spend money on a new attraction to draw guests in. It would also end up closing two major sections of the park to construct, and Movie World isn't that big already. I like themeparkgc's idea with the roller coaster around the lake. If they were going to implement a pre-show like Superman Escape; they could remove the Batman Adventure ride and use the space it took up for it. Lets hope they do make room though, with any idea. This parks attractions list needs to grow - not remain the same. I don't think they have added a new ride without replacing anything since Road Runner in 2000.

  2. An indoor coaster to replace Scooby Doo now it sucks.
But we want MW to increase its Rides & Attractions list, not replace it. What's the point of installing a new Ride/Attraction if your not going to maintain the standards? Seeing as SDSC is one of the best "themed" attractions at the park.
  3. Thanks for the explanation AlexB and Reanimated35 :)

i nearly once came to a complete stop on those breaks before you start the drops (4 adults in the car and i think the one in front was 2 kids)
I have, it was really busy though. Everyone ending up stopping at each break and then continuing at slow speeds.
  4. ^ Well on one of the videos it said '45 minutes later'. Though I'm pretty sure they weren't keeping track on time the way they were acting. If it was true however they should have, 45+ is a long time to wait.

For one, a wind gauge would look like this:
Theres one on the cyclone just after you finish the lift hill. Heres a working picture: post-2298-1263603076_thumb.jpg Also, what does PLC stand for?
  5. Good find Gazza, but thats strange, don't you think the bird would have just moved like they do in front of cars. Must have been to fast. A bit off topic but if anyone has wondered what its like to be on the SDSC broken down there are two new videos on youtube, you just have to put up with teenage girls screaming and crying that the worlds going to end, but one does show the evacuation procedure.

  6. The censors would prevent people from swearing from the top of the hill! (pretty sure you meant Sensor)
LOL sorry :P I was thinking that the sensor was there to detect rollbacks, but also give clearance to the 2nd train to begin the pre-show, and then when the 1st train entered the loading bay, the 2nd train could launch. Does that sound right? I was at MW 2 days ago, 2 of the 4 times I went on SE we got stuck on the corner just before you proceed onto the launch pad, and I read somewhere that meant the next block section was not cleared. (unloading bay)
  7. Seriously, I can't believe how damn close they let you go!
It's not that close. I thought so too but when I was queuing up for Jet Rescue it went past and there is plenty of clearance. You'd have to be freakishly tall to hit it, and if you were that tall the harness wouldn't close anyway.
  8. Okay so basically whenever I'm in the scenario editor and I edit the park details it gives me these two options: - Opening Time 00:00 am/pm - Closing Time 00:00 am/pm Whenever I set these (Eg, Opens 9 AM closes 9 PM) nothing seems to happen. No guests exit, no rides shut down, nothing. Does it just stop the flow of peeps entering the park? or am I missing something?

  9. I'd also like to add my 2 cents worth. Honestly I don't think that the coaster needed a rebranding, as someone said earlier in the thread people are familiar with Corkscrew, its what people think of Sea World. It also doesn't help when the company does not put enough effort into advertising it. I heard many people talking about how they were going to ride the Corkscrew when I was entering the park, completely clueless that the corkscrew was no more, and that a (IMO) failed attempt of re launching a ride stood in its place. The ride experience hasn't changed much for me, and there are no big visual changes. A new coat of paint and a sign makes it a new ride? We'll if that worked then we would be getting new thrill rides at Dreamworld every year. IMO WVTP failed at this, they should've sticked to the corkscrew. Done all of the "under the hood" refurbishments and replaced the trains, but kept the name. If anyone loves this "new" ride please don't shoot me, It's good. But not worth the re-branding.

  10. Cool, when I head up to Coolangatta after new years I'll check it out. Last time I went I preffered Police Academy. IMO it was a waste of time, and I could've rode Superman or Scooby Doo once more before I left. But it sounds like it's changed. Edit: Also, has any of the plot changed?

  11. I dont know anything about weight restrictions, but you can contact WVTP. (Movie World, Sea World and Wet n' Wild Water World) here: My Fun Contact Us Page. ^ You can ring up the parks or email them using the form on the page. You can contact Dreamworld and White Water World here: Dreamworld Contact Us Page. White Water World Contact Us Page. ^Again you can ring them up or contact them with the form. Hope that helps.

  12. I pretty much ripped off this thread: http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=3866 But, on Movie World, so: If you were CEO of Warner Brothers Movie World or WVTP for that matter. What changes and additions would you make, if financial issues were not a problem? ;)First, I would touch up the place. I would bring the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster and Wild West Falls back to its former glory, try to smooth out Lethal Weapon and re-pain Main Street. Then I would remove the Food Policy, and include drinks with meals. Next on the list would be the Looney Tunes River Ride. Thats about all I can think of for changes. Cant really think of anything for additions accept a B&M.
