  1. Given the ride was not designed by the manufacturer to do that, I would very much doubt it could change to that. Why would it need to anyway?
  2. No. That. Has. Never. Happened. To. Anyone. Else. On. This. Board. Ever. See what I did there? You were expecting those words to each be links to the numerous examples of people speaking of their experience on JL on this board. But not this time friends, you can do your own search.
  3. That's what they said last time it was cancelled.
  4. Ugh.... you were supposed to tell him it's stage 2 of White Water World :'(
  5. Would have made more sense if you'd stopped a week ago while the jokes were still relevant.
  6. Time for some SFMM metal detectors? Or just a punch up?
  7. Given my limited exposure to all the Aussie parks, I'd have to go with 1 - Dreamworld - Sure it's got its faults, but it's really the only park on the coast that I'd consider to be a "full day" park (or a least a most-day park) 2 - Movieworld - A very close second, but lacking a few rides (not trying to start a debate on what it needs etc - it's just not a full day park) 3 - Sea World - A great "different" experience themepark wise. Haven't been since Storm opened though. 4 - WnW - Still the winner as far as water parks go 5 - WWW - A distant follower to WnW that started with so much promise then just seemed to fade into obscurity. Haven't been to enough other parks in Australia to judge any more. 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 -
  8. It's certainly interesting. It will be a completely different concept to Americans since it actually makes right hand turns to go around in circles.
  9. let me guess. Remove the Mmotocoaster, put the vintage cars back and add a B&M?
  10. Why would you say that seems wrong? It didn't seem like we were realistically getting a coaster or anything substantially heavy there any time soon.
  11. Interesting way to lay dirt. Would have expected trucks and dozers
  12. I can't be bothered uploading the rest as there's 1- too many of them, and 2 - they're nothing special. So here, have this instead. They were doing fine, or at least as fine as they could be in that shitty water.
  13. I sometimes think that as well, but has there been any evidence of that happening or are we just crazy?
  14. Did you mean to link something else or are you failing as a spam bot?
  15. Well when you look into it, the park caters mostly to 0-9 year olds. They do have certain days where adults and everyone else are welcome to see the bird displays. It's just a media beat up.
  16. I always thought Batwing would stay open? What do you mean by "protect the cable" ? Superman I would have thought would close in high wind, hence the wind thing they have up near the crest of the top hat and as Flea said, it would likely cause rollbacks. Lethal seems fast enough to get around everything unless there was cyclonic winds. As for WWF, what if there was an MC Hammer tribute at the park and everyone was wearing parachute pants, some really strong winds come up and catch the pants and everyone gets blown off the ride????
  17. Lucky they were pointing to that logo in the 3rd pic. Would never have noticed it otherwise...
  18. What ever happened to those rumours of Legoland making an appearance in Australia anyway?
