  1. I was recently reading up on the new spit developments the QLD gov wants to start, in one of the files they showed how the works would take over the Sea World overflow parking lot. What caught my attention however was that the plans also showed a water coaster to be built on the western edge of the parking lot. Below ive attached a copy of the page in question. The track layout indicates a standard mack water-coaster, with the monorail to pass over the splashdown pool. There is no timeline shown so i am not sure when they will start construction, thats to say if they still plan to go along with it, the date down the bottom but suggests that village roadshow was still contemplating the idea very recently. I think this sounds very promising, having said that i wish vrtp opted to install the larger version of the ride seen on the mack website http://www.mack-rides.com/lang-en/c128/default.html thats if they still continue to go ahead with it.
  2. Now i want a new coaster just as much as anyone else here but i really think that the park would be better off adding smaller/more rides to their lineup before going ahead with their next coaster. I think a rapids ride would do great at the park, its high capacity and would be great ride the whole family could enjoy and cool down on for most of the year. For the thrill seekers out there the lower cost of a ride like the rapids could also mean a flat/thrill ride or even a dark ride be built and opened in the same year or even at the same time, creating even bigger ype for the park. If a flat ride were to be built i think a huss batflight would probably be the best considering a flying coaster is probably a long way away for any of our parks and this could create the same sensation for alot less in a smaller amount of space. Any thoughts?
  3. since construction is now well underway, the general public must know something big is happening. Why doesn't WBMW just release an artists rendition of the ride and put us all out of our misery, i mean its the least they can do.
  4. dont worry bout corckscrew, it will be one of the best rides you will have in Australia(atleast for the time being : bring me Superman)
  5. hey i was just wondering, what are your thoughts of building a park at the brickpits down at homebush,(if it were to happen).
