  1. Interesting in the t and c's that They hold launches after the publicised opening now :S

I usually get Dreamworld emails, why didn't I get this one? I have a pass. Never mind i got it now. Btw, is the pass number the numbers underneath the barcode? eg. P4354----...
  2. The attraction will probably be big as they are starting construction and making announcements early as Spring isn't for months and Autumn has only recently started. My guessing would probably be a HD Justice League experience, maybe in 3D like the Spiderman ride at Universal.. What I am wondering is what villains will be used in the ride. Maybe so some Green Lantern villains to fit in with the theming in the que for the Green Lantern Coaster, or some of the villains from the 70th anniversary like Lex Luthor.

  3. They couldn't really demolish the Sea World monorail as it is very good use in touring, picking up and dropping off people from Sea World Resort and also saving long walks from destination to destination as the chair lift is usually closed. A new train would do good in the future instead of trashing it, and also love the idea of the Nickelodeon advertising on the monorail trains as it's a real eye catcher especially when passing the Sea World Lake arena.

  4. If memory serves correctly he said "no plans at this stage" RR only runs with two trains during school holidays/peak periods Depending on the popularity of the "new coaster experience" I could see them ordering an additional train for peak periods, with the DC licensing and lack of something to bash your head on I can see Arkham being fairly popular.

RIP to the only roller coaster with the usual small que of 10-0 people..
  5. There's going to be the after park Illuminate these school holidays right? Also, here is an album i found of some construction on ANOTHER Facebook page ran by some 12 year old. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.251073618315555.56913.226868340736083&type=3

  6. The background isn't long enough for the page AND they are still in need of an actual logo for the ride. What's with all these marketing department failures lately (at BOTH parks)

That really depends on what kind of computer/laptop you're using, the background fits the page fine on my macbook.

It will be out soon but it is pretty much the one in the middle of the train in the mockups

Isn't that the overall Arkham logo? It won't be too similar I would think because they still have to fit the Asylum and the Shock Therapy unless they put the Asylum logo below the Arkham word and Shock Therapy under the diamond or something like that..
  7. Here as an ad for Dreamworks at Dreamworld and the new passes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5z4uMXSbaM&feature=context&context=G2963e90FUAAAAAAAFAA   Also that was me who posted the cropped picture.

The add is a great teaser, but it's the website that's really getting to me. The poor work of art and photoshop on the worlds just makes it look so poor and rushed especially some of the logo's for the attractions, they really need to put a big more work into it to make it look more formal as Dreamworld is a big theme park not just a local fair.
  8. The Riddler does appear in the first game.

    My bad

Dont really agree, as you have mentioned, everyone knows Joker. Harley Quinn is quite well known as the Jokers offsider, is heavily featured in the games and anyone who went to Fright Nights would see the relevance to her character with Arkham. Bane is very well known, he was terribly portrayed in Batman & Robin and will be even more relevant once the Dark Knight Rises comes out. The only one that people may not be aware of is Killer Croc as he has not appeared in a movie previously - so unless you have played Arkham Asylum, you probably wouldnt be familiar with him. Who knows what form these 'inmates' will play. They may just be in statue form (like the characters in the green lantern queue), and as Killer Croc would make for a very menacing 'villian' given he is 11ft tall and weighs 580 pounds (so says his character ID in Arkham Asylum) he would be a great choice.

I know what you mean, but Poison Ivy was definitely a main character in both the games so they really should've included her in the album. But who knows what will happen, they might include more villains we will just have to wait and see..
  9. I recently heard on a news story on channel 7, about the upcoming Dreamworks Experience, that Dreamworld only has a contract with Dreamworks for the next 5years. It seems like a big investment for something that could potentially last only 5 years? Although I know that it's probable they will renew the license.

But wasn't Sesame Street only at Sea World for around 5 years...
