  1. The amount of attractions that go down purely due to guest behaviour is insane. How is that gaslighting them? The amount of times I've seen West have to evacuate because some numpty jumped the fence to retrieve a lost item is next level. Crawl back into your little hole king.
  2. The point I am making is, these works are all been done at the same time to minimise the downtime later in the year. Would this not make more sense, if you're already servicing the attractions, to do the rest of the works required at the same time?
  3. The pour taking place is throughout the entire 'plaza' area outside of Superman, including around all of the supports, and the exit ramp. The backside of the entire ride envelope is also open currently to allow for trucks, materials and so on to enter for flash, obviously you can't run the attraction without any fencing. Flash's area will be guest accessible in certain areas, but that doesn't involve cranes and so on within the Superman footprint. Batwing has gone through it's annual rebuild, and is nearing completion for the photos we've seen posted online, but there are as far as I'm aware, a lot of temp services running through that area.
  4. Standard dribble from you champ. Point I'm making is, Village are/were being slammed for closing attractions for 2 months for maintenance, "but Dreamworld don't do it", yet I point out that they in fact do. Perhaps you can't see your bias, but it's draining and boring.
  5. Really feels like you're moving the goal posts here... Superman and Batwing have both been down to aid construction of both Flash AND Oz. Extended more so than their usual periods. From what you can see, a large amount of concreting has been done around Superman's supports to aid with Oz, if this wasn't done now (possibly extending it's closure) then it would have had to go down again later in the year for it. Which would you prefer? I'd hardly call Doomsday a major attraction.
  6. Last year it was the same, Serpent Slayer, Claw, The Gold Coaster, Motocoaster and Shockwave all closed for 2+ months. Movie World's in comparison was far less. Why is it ok for Dreamworld, but not Movie World?
  7. Yikes, this comment didn't age well, did it? Claw, Motocoaster, Kenny's Flyers, Shockwave and now Serpent Slayer are closed for 2 months or more this year...
  8. You're working on an awful lot of assumptions here... I guess good thing the coaster is both Red & Yellow then.. Have you seen this in person? There is no way it goes unnoticed, especially from within the Superman Escape 'plaza', you would have full view of the attraction & station.
  9. Where did you find this information? Boating School Blast and Trident are the only two attractions currently down.
  10. Not Dapto, but can answers. My recent visit was much the same as his, no more than 8 vendors, including those run/owned by Dreamworld across the entire event. There was next to no crowd, couple hundred would be a big stretch.
  11. That billboard has been there for years. You're reading into it's placement far to much.
  12. This looks great. Far better than an abandoned ride.
  13. There's even more than what's currently on display. All in pretty decent condition considering their age. There's a few more that will be out before Christmas too!
  14. I was addressing one of your complaints, now the goal posts have moved... Lighting in the maze was also adjusted over the last week. Some people are stating the rooms are so small that people are getting hit, others are saying they're oversized. Which is it?
  15. This years mazes have more rooms than the majority of their predecessors. DCeased is far bigger than IT was as well. More actors have also been added to majority of the mazes between week 1 and week 2.
  16. Sadly there is a whole range of issues, stopping them from using that building for anything more than they currently are. It seems as though it was created to be a "rest" space, whilst being somewhat exclusive. It's obviously missed the mark, but on the positive side, hopefully this pushes them to reintroduce UTT.
  17. Jaggs posted the attached picture on his page earlier this week. Strangely there is only new railings on the left side of the building and not the right. Generally access to this roof has only ever needed fall arrest harnesses, and not railings. Not sure what is going on with the windows either, but it looks extremely crap imo.
  18. This is their new zip-line for this year's second Heroes & Villains event. For some unknown reason, they've not used the existing infrastructure built into the Dru Building, for events a few years back. They should've at least added a themed wrap to the scaff, or maybe a big construction company logo to it? That's how the parks operate these days right? It seems as though they have also added some dreadful railings to the top left of the Daily Planet building, whilst also covering two of the windows, again for some unknown reason.
  19. The hut shares a common wall with first aid. The entire building is used by that department.
  20. I'm sure in one of Dean's many jobs, his industry experience tells him they aren't allowed to...
