@Skeeta pretty much got it spot on Notice how the amusement parks for Stage 2 has a little asterisk saying “More with COVID SAFE Plan approved by health authorities”? I assume, that’s if I am indeed reading into this all correctly, if the all the parks can show how they can implement a COVID Safe plan than what is expected of them, they maybe given more to work with so possible more attendance allowed in the parks? Where is if they just went with just good ol social distancing and that’s it, 20-100 people max inside. I’ll say the whole of next two weeks now, will see both VRTP and Ardent develop their COVID Safe plan and submit it to QLD Government and say in three weeks time, we should get a date confirmation and what is to be expected when they reopen (restrictions etc) That’s my take on the whole situation

So I popped into DW for an hour yesterday and can confirm some slow work on the site and nearby the new attraction has begun

I probably couldn’t tell you why Buzzsaw and Mick Doohans is getting pushed back but with HotWheels and Pipeline Plunge I am going to assume they weren’t ready to reopen just yet and their repaints are going to take a lot more longer than expected hence they have been pushed back. HWSW probably has been affected the most due to the contractors repainting the ride are also working on Green Lantern at the same time and seeing that started first, their priority is going to go to that and probably don’t have the staff at the moment to complete both projects 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have been to all properties on the Gold Coast since the COVID-19 outbreak occurred and will say from observation all properties have been affected but will say MW is probably doing the best out of all of them at this current time, PC still had quite a few tourist groups when I went a month ago, but ain’t aware if this has increased or decreased since then. From observation, attendance hasn't been high from recent visits at WNW/SW/DW/WWW, but I think the weather, lack of rides open and the coroner’s report may have had more a contributing factor to this rather than COVID-19

They are due to be hang back up where they used to be soon, I believe they are getting new audio system including speakers soon

Space Jam was on last Friday which I attended where only around 15 people were in the pool and maybe 15 more people out from the pool so it makes sense they cancelled it

I went on Sunday Nothing exciting has happened besides all the parts have been shipped to SFMM as previously reported

Two new screens have been added to Main Street as of today Looks like they are doing a rejuvenation of Daily Planet and the area where shows occur

Big Red Car is perfect, no changes required One just needs to see Wags The Dog, He is arguably the best part of the ride
