Does anyone know if the camp area/whatever it is behind the car park is still operational? And if not does AW own any of that land?

But the area around the construction is massive area. Could be a big attraction coming there. He did say in a video 6 million worth of waterside. "That buys a lot of waterslide", Mark said. So hint it must be big.

The flags go all the way to the grand prix raceway and that building there that originaly held the crazy mirrors. But I think the land Adventure World owns goes right back. When I was there yesterday it seems like the land they own goes right back and up that steep hill towards the side of the park. Maybe it will use the land for the building that is on top of the hill because it looks like it is getting removed or modified. Or possibly it is being modified to be the start of the ride?

I went to Adventure World today and below is some points I notice. - Free fall was closed in the morning and opened around 3pm. - The weeds under Abyss have gone. It looks as if the whole thing has been mowed down. Well done Mark for taking action very quickly on that) - No constructing has started on new ride yet. - One of the food places was closed. (Dragon bites) - I tried the Rampage and Black Widow for the first time. BTW I enjoyed BW, (Its a power surge) However the Rampage was intense and just wow. - I learnt the hard way that if you keep your head forward on Abyss and going threw the outdoor bit you get of and have a headache from it bouncing around. * On a side not to Mark, There were extremely nice staff everywhere. One ride operator for the Bounties Revenge, (from about 1pm) was so funny. He pretend he was a pirate caption and was talking with the guest, making jokes and was really enjoyable to be around. (He has long hair if that helps to identify who he was) The guy on the rocky rapids in the morning was also funny and interacting with the guest while pushing them into the ride. I really enjoyed my day at Adventure World and thanks Mark and team for making a very good day.

My only concern with smell machines. You don't want to make the ride smell bad and people not wanting to go into the ride. Mark I cant remember if this has been answered or not. But what has happened to the mist just before the lift hill? However the last time I saw Abyss I thought it looked great and had great theming. So well done Mark and your team for what you have done with Adventure World so far and I cant wait for Mi2.

Djrappa, I think that he was just saying what he thinks will be awesome. I don't think he was saying do this or do that. I think he just meant it would be cool if they did ......

What was that building used for or was used for in the past?

Mark is the new ride expected to be open when the next season restarts or is it going to open after? Thanks in advanced, Tim

Can this topic name be changed. It is not speculation any more. A new ride is coming.

If Dreamworld did close for one or two months they could use the time to make minor changes/build new attractions. So when they open they launch with them. (Like CP or AW does) So in the time closed they can make changes that will not be easy to make when open. (Like painting /updating systems/training new staff/building/repairs/maintenance and so on)

I would love to see a dark ride at some point. However I don't think AW has the room for a decent sized one. But Mark feel free to prove me wrong.

I read this on the comments on one of the photos from the Chanel 9's Facebook page. "Why did they call emergency crews? Movieworld has Batman, Superman and even Scooby Doo! ...Hahahahahaha" I thought this needed to be shared.

I knew the Trams came from under the entrance. but I would love to see/ learn what it there now. Mark would you be able to shed light into this? Thanks Tim

Well I think Dreamworld should win an award. Why make a mine themed roller coaster themed to be abundant mine. Why not make it an actual abandoned mine ride. Great theming I think. Well done Dreamworld for going to the extra effete for this wonderful piece of scenery. LOL Always good to end the night on a joke.

Those pictures just look sad without the Castle there. So boring and plan. Maybe this thread should be move into the Adventure World thread.

I think the BB house could make good use for a indoor roller coster or ride. Or be a indoor section of a roller coster and the 'THEMED' cue building.

I think a family raft ride or a 4 seater water slide would be great. Something the park does not have.
