Seems to me that they are getting rid of the old body slides.

I realy want a disney park in Australia!!! Maybe not as large as the American park and it could work. Add a small kids section and a section with attractions like... Rock n rollercoaster The haunted mansion The twilight zone tower of terror Space mountain Big thunder mountain railroad Matterhorn bobsled Soari'n over Australia ------ yeh And maybe a couple of unique rides and attractions only found in Australia. Add a resort --- one reort!! A few restaraunts----- not one on every corner And no concert venues like LPS--- maybe one may do but not overdone A small disney park may work in Australia Out of all the American theme parks I really do want to see a Universal Studios in Australia. Bringing movies to life like the Jurassic park ride and a marvel Area with the Incredible Hulk coaster and doctor dooms fear fall for you Marvel fans. And also studio tours ad of course wizarding world of harry pottor. And plus this could bring Halloween to Australia with horror nights just like the American park . Either park would be amazing but I'm leaning more towards a universal studios Australia !!

Do you ever think we'll see another (compact) roller coaster at LPS? If so, where could they fit it??

Nicole Kidman she could play the part well. If the decided to put a disney park in the Gold Coast. Wouldn't disney buy out all the Gold Coast parks?? If so they can do stuff like Epcot and animal kingdom. But if they do something like that they should make a child's park. All about princesses and Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Like a disney jr park and another park for the thrill seekers . Just my idea

I just happened to notice that the slides are clustered and those clusters of slides are spread out around the park. Are they planning on using the empty spaces for future expansions or are they leaving as is.

Can't wait to join. Hope it's up soon. I live waterparks just as much as theme parks :-) What about a carnival and fair database too. That'll be cool. - it can remind people about upcoming carnivals and how long they go for and wat rides are going to be there.

Stage 2 is next season. Every second year they will add a few more rides

Sometimes a change is for the best. Like said above the cost of running it is expensive. And yes they should special days with the original. But a change is probably the best for dreamworld. The money saved from maintainance of the original can go into new upcoming rides for the future.

I understand but single person slides are still fun. Like the ones at wet n wild in QLD. A bunch of them like that would work well

It is Gazza. Jamberoo is my local theme park. It is so fun. It's not too big so you can get everything done in a day. I've ridden the funnel web so many times. It is pitch black inside the slide (jamberoo has this thing with the dark) and that helix before the drop. You can realy feel it. The whole ride is amazing. What jamberoo needs to add in kangeroo island is some more singular slides like splash out. The slides in banjos billabong don't count. More singular slides would work well.

If adventure world in Perth can afford to put in a EuroFighter coaster in why can't DW MW or even SW do the same. Adventure world- a park I've never heard of until yesterday has put itself on the map for having australias first eurocoaster. Come on Adveenture World is catching up to Queensland parks. Get rid of the mountain in DW and add a EuroFighter and theme it to a mine like at dolly wood !!!!!!!

They use Maloney's Corner for traveling rides and shows during the school holidays. But the should definatly add some rides there. Move the tumblebug from the top of the building and put it in Maloney's corner. And add a boomerang coaster there. Then add a drop or launch tower in any empty part of the park. There's lots :-)

1. Add a major coaster. -boomerang, eurocoaster 2 repair or replace the mine coaster 3. Add a children's coaster 4. Expand white water world 5. Turn the river into a river ride like jaws, or the river ride in disney 6. Add a super thrill ride. Simmilar to Kingda Ka. But smaller. 7. Get a record breaking attraction. (Extend the TOT and the giant drop) 8. Longer ride times 9. A lunchtime parades 10. Longer. Hours

I agree LPS needs new rides. I sent LPS an email with a link of a website that sells used or second hand rides. That answerd back saying they would take it into concideration but I highly doubt it. Either way LPS as till a fun place to visit. I do hope LPS brings in some new rides :-)

There is just NO WAY they would ever put another mine themed ride into that space, it doesn't make any business sense, it won't draw in crowds and DW is about making money, its NOT about nostalgia in any way these days.
