  1. In regards to the AA leg squashing, the first inversion does a great deal of tightening although due to the ride's intensity you don't really notice it. When I had the pleasure of doing a double of the track without having the restraints released due to zero queue that one really nails it down especially when it's already tight.
  2. After reading lots of these negative comments about food at MW i thought I might tell you that they do have some decent offerings. For food I always go to that shop attached to B & J and they have some quite decent stuff. I usually get the chicken schnitzel sub which is $13, quite big and filling but is also good quality. There is also wraps and other stuff that's quite decent as well. Far cheaper than burgers, more filling and better quality. Also in regards to burgers all the parks changed over to those crappy 'Prime Burgers' that promised so much but delivered so little a while back. I think MW changed in July 2012 and WnW did just before the 2012-2013 summer season. I found the old ones to be bigger and far better than those.
  3. If you're at Movie World I wouldn't bother. For example if you wanted to do superman then your group could split in half with the other half going Arkham or some other ride and swapping afterwards. When I was as Sea World about a week after storm opened they allowed you to dump your bags on the grass at the entrance and just remove all valuables like wallets and take them on. Idk if they still let you but that's what they did then.
  4. I'm actually a little confused about why they would put superman's control where it is. Seriously making the only access points the doors on the right in the middle of the queue and a path from the attendant from the far side is a little strange. Like wouldn't it make sense for the controller to have easy access to the platform. If they did then they could really make it easier to run on off peak days. Like having an operator marshal, load then run to the exit via the shop afterwards is a little inconvenient.
  5. Considering the Road Runner attendant panel is on the opposite side of the platform (Exit Side) I highly doubt that would be used as they need to cross the train to get back to the op booth. But yea, they usually make rides capable of functioning on the least amount of people they possibly can which is dictated by logistics. For example on Jet Rescue the controller checks their side and does the marshaling while the attendant does the opposite side an exit. Once both attendants have checked the harnesses they both press the pre-dispatch (Yellow Flashy Button which is the same on Superman). Then the controller heads back and both press their dispatch dual button. Intamin accelerators like Superman and Jet Rescue are made so that they can be programmed so only 2 yellows and a green + control are required for dispatch. I would assume that other rides have similar systems so parts of control panels can be disabled.
  6. Storm Coaster for sure, if you're in the back you come out like you've just had a shower with your clothes on. Seats (Wettest - Driest) on Storm: Row 4, Row 1, Row 3, Row 2.
  7. I'll be going to MW on the 22nd so i'll report in what they've done then.
  8. When you get going up the lift hill: "Herro, this is your captain speaking, (rest) or you can just call be the JOKER (Evil Laugh) Now, you may experience some slight electrocution and possible alteration of sanity on today's journey! HEY, would you have a look at that, I can see my house from here! Now here we go folks, now be sure to hold onto your lunch BECAUSE IT'S TIME TO FRY (Another Evil Laugh)." As soon as that line is over then it drops. The Audio does play all the time it's just that the noisy lift hill motors and stuff drown it out. The only reason I heard it was when I experienced a lift hill E Stop back in April 2013.
  9. Back when Bermuda was SBNO before it got demolished I found the park to appear on it's last legs a bit. For example things weren't clean and all little details like that which showed they were cutting costs. As of my latest visit (Right after storm open) I saw nothing of that sort. Personally I think if it wasn't for the other park's Sea World would have gone bust in that period.
  10. 1. Don't go in the holidays except in the week before christmas. Movieworld: 1. Do Arkham first. 2. If going superman be willing to go by yourself. 3. Scooby is walk on from 4 on off peak weekdays and Saturdays. 4. Do WWF in the morning after Arkham or the late afternoon if you're willing to get wet. 5. Batwing is great for getting a single rider seat when the queues are long. 6. The last week before Christmas is great for short queues. 7. Don't do permanent attractions at fright nights because you can get on them with 15 min queues during white Christmas. 8. On busy days have and early or late lunch as the queues are shorter during the lunch rush.
  11. A standard movie world ride op gets just over $10 per hour in their pocket.
  12. Sea World, Do all the rides in the morning starting with storm before the queues hit them. Leave vikings to last for the rides. Then during the day have a look at all the animals and to a couple more rides right at the end of the day.
  13. That'll probably never happen considering that they rarely have the smoke going now. If I were to do something i'd strip the main lift of WWF and redo all the effects. What they have now is quite horrid compared to what they used to have before the fire.
  14. I was there in the January holidays last year on a Monday and the longest I waited was 5 minutes for the wild mouse. They couldn't even fill up the Redback with people, that's how quiet it was. Plus it was a 100% clear and sunny day!
  15. Seriously, the water table is a problem if you require a pump running 24/7 when you are doing foundation works!
  16. It's interesting to hear all your comments about it constantly breaking down when it didn't break down at all on Tuesday and neither did any other rides. Also Luke when were you on? It seems strange to see it with no queue.
  17. I'm pretty sure it's smoke because it lingers for quite some time. They're positioned just as you re-enter the building. Also Gdalby how long were the queues today? Yesterday they were just backing up to the last set of light removing flaps which equated to just over 20 mins. They were dispatching approximately every 45 Seconds.
  18. There's also water explosions on Storm. Edit: Gdalby, Was Sea Viper running today?
  19. Oh, I see. I was under the impression they they hadn't laid the gas as of yet.
