Wow @mattcrombie, some really great photos there. Is it just me or do those crates look a lot bigger than the ones we've already seen? I love how they've blued out all the mack logos except for the "authorized mack personnel" line. Intentional or not I wonder?

I'm sure the park is losing a lot of income and I believe that the sooner they open the sooner they can start working back the public's trust. I hope they re-open soon for those reasons, but if the operators are not satisfied with going back into operation so soon I completely understand any delays in opening. Although, if they delay this too long the quiet time before school holidays will be over and we'll have to face the crowds for those wanting to go down ? (I'm sure the crowds will be significantly quieter though, and that's why they need to work on building the public's trust)

Personally, I don't think the park are desperately in need of body slides, WWW is the park that needs one more if you ask me. Unless you mean single tubes on tube slides like WWW does, which I totally agree with.

I've always thought a Mack Big Dipper would be perfect for Dreamworld. It could easily become the best ride in the park and yet be relatively cheap and have a small footprint - the Big Dippers look like crazy rides that don't let up until the very end.

It's not necessarily because he said he didn't like the ride, more the way he said it, he came across to me as a thoughtless person who only cares about his own interests. If someone said "Yes, Vikings is getting old and while I understand it is a classic ride perhaps it is time for it to be moving on?" instead of "good they should get rid of this boring ride" I would be much more understanding.

Vikings was the second ever attraction I've ridden at a theme park. I've already lost the first (Bermuda) and losing another historic ride for me would be quite sad ?

I'm quite the opposite actually, I don't want to sound disrespectful but I have missed the park a lot and would love to get back down there, although probably just to pay respect to the victims initially.

The only problem with Arkham is that the load times (with VR) would make it really painful (both mentally and physically) to have to sit on the transfer while the other train loads.

I agree with this (although for me it's more of the opposite - an afternoon park). It's definitely not on the same level as WnW and an expansion would be very nice.
