  1. Something I also want to add that I noticed, was that to the left of the stadium there are no signs saying where to leave prams, ramp access, etc. And I definitely think they need to add it. From the other side there are signs and people obey by what it says and leave their prams in a space that's out the way, but on the left side (looking out to the island) people leave them in the walkway and it made it difficult for everyone to leave (especially as the stadium was overflowing).
  2. I definitely agree with that @Slick, and don't blame them at all, as that is what I'd rather them do. Maybe we will see it ready for the Easter holiday period. Also to add, they were showing a number of the cameras on the big screen, particularly while the tigers were in the pool. It is really cool seeing this when the tigers are in the water and swimming down.
  3. Just been at the park. TOT is in testing Shockwave was being checked over and had some testing of seat harness GD had workmen on the top of the gondola, and men were varnishing the timber in the queue area Carpark about 60% full so far today And this sign has been updated:
  4. If you don't have a license you are in a dual control Buggy with a member of staff, if you do have a license you can be in a Buggy by yourself
  5. From what I can tell when I've visited the park @Ryande16, it definitely seems like it is. Can I ask how you know that the track will begin arriving?
  6. This was posted a couple of days ago by William-Owen Jones who is a part of the Division 2 for the GC and just shows that the DW carpark is completely filling So great to see
  7. The pricing system is a bit confusing because they are displaying different pricing. But right now until January 24 (I think it is) you can only book in park, but after then you can book online. I suppose now they are going to try and take advantage of it while people are there. Also something to add when I was there was they send out 4 cars at a time, with about 30 seconds between each Buggy, and then a 5th one will follow which has a staff member in it, in case there are any issues while on course.
  8. Found out that the Buggys can reach a speed of 35km/h
  9. From that photo it doesn't look like a ghost town. Seems there a few there.
  10. I was reading over some of th articles about this again, and they state that construction was supposed to begin in September 2016, for a mid-late 2017 opening. We haven't seen any construction, or site preparations since its announcement, so it seems that we might not be seeing this open this year. Unless they have and its on a site that we can't see from the road.
  11. TOT is currently in testing. Launched about three times so far.
  12. Also, despite there are only being the 4 options online, at the park you can also choose how many laps you do. I went on this just as it opened. Its awesome. $29 for 1 lap, $49 for 2 laps or $69 for 4 laps.
  13. We have some progress. The columns around the site for the fence, are being painted the white/cream like GLs and there are cables sticking out the top. There are also block fence posits between each concrete column, which will also be a part of the fence.
  14. I imagine they would've just removed them to make access to the motors much easier, so they can complete a full check. Once it is done, hopefully they'll just be put back in place.
  15. The LED displays now show the time as people go down the slide, and once they cross the finish it stops and then shows their position
  16. Buggy is now open And here's a short video of them in action:
  17. Went past the park at around 1pm today, and the carpark was nearly full. Was really great to see. Also, looks like a massive crowd watching the fire machine show tonight (Photo from Stand By Dreamworld)
  18. Just got a flyer in the post from DW about extended trading, what's on this summer and the fire machine show.
  19. When driving past MW last night and seeing the GL lit up in full, I was thinking, if this new coaster is themed to the Flash, I think it would be pretty cool if at the top the lift hill they had the Flash Logo that lit up in red, something similar to the GL one.
