Many comparisons to how this wouldn't wash in Magic Kingdom or Disneyland, and how Hagrid's motorbike is way better and my take away is that it sounds like the typical american disney fan entitlement where everything Disney builds has to be for them. It's a freaking Junior coaster. For kids. Some of whom don't enjoy the longer bigger faster attractions.
Nobody is hating on Gadget's coaster, or Barnstormer. And this is longer than both of them.
So then we come back to the complaint that it's what.... themed too well? fuck me enthusiasts are a steaming pile of dogshit.
See it feels like you're deliberately missing the point now to be antagonistic.
Maybe have a coffee, and reflect on the conversation and see if you can spot a difference between this and Gadget's/Barnstormer, that might affect the way these rides are perceived.
Spoiler: it involves themeing, and how the level of themeing changes expectations.

I mean did you watch a video of it on YT? Because most of the comments are talking about how short it is so maybe that's a start. I'm saying the problem the ride has is it's over dressed for what it is. Not a controversial take I would have thought but apparently it's worth really arguing about and drilling into.

Rocking cars adds almost nothing (almost. Like on a swinging suspended coaster, swinging doesn't do much) and 'headlining character theme' would be true if we were in the 40s. Now granted I haven't done extensive market research, but I bet more kids would be into with/familiar with frozen than Snow White, timeless or no.
I don't have opinions on modern Disney 'Lightning Lane' and whatnot, but again looking at it in isolation I think it's over dressed. How it fits in the park's attraction mix might be different, so you do have a point with that, but I think at the very least the online perception of this ride is that something is off, and I think the issue is its a C ticket in E tickets clothes.

I mean the difference between 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Oaken's is ride time and a very short dark ride section, and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train is considered top tier, so not sure really what you want. If you want to split hairs and say 'Umm well actually 7DMT is considered a 'D' ticket' then you're skipping the actual point that is being made in favour of pedantry.
And not everything at Disney is top tier, you can tell they are by how they're dressed up. Slinky Dog at HK is not top tier, maybe at Dreamworld. Oaken's looks top tier af, and is done up to that standard, you would expect it to offer way more than it does.

The problem with Wandering Oaken is they've taken a Roller Skater and dressed it up to the point that it's almost a must ride. You see a ride like at Disney and you'd figure there's way more hidden. Then you go on it and it's a min long kiddie coaster. Doesn't mean there's no place for a kiddie coaster, but making an E-Ticket out of one is a risky move.
I don't know what any of this has to do with Jungle Rush.

It doesn't create any extra capacity and makes the queues longer, so what is the benefit?

Here's the thing about Vortex's downtime; very little of it is mechanical. The factors that contribute to it being closed are less likely to be a factor at MW. Mechanically, its quite sound.
The Demand at SW for a ride like that isn't there. It should be removed and be replaced with a wheel even if you threw it in the bin.
Since the hardware is fine though, It should go to MW to replace Doomsday.

So the stats say it has reliability pretty much on par with other coasters, with a fair chunk of its downtime being late openings. This is my take too.
Question about those stats, are maintenance periods removed or no?

Probably sounds similar to watching a TV show on DVD where they randomly restate the plot as if you've missed the prior third/ two thirds of the show. Like you notice, but it doesn't ruin your day

Again, the metric for me is charm. No where near enough info yet to know if there is, but at the least it seems like there will be effort, which is no guarantee of charm but it's a good start.

Vortex should be moved to Movie World to replace Doomsday. Vortex's location at Sea World should be used instead for a Ferris wheel for scenic views of the dolphin pools, ski lake, as well as providing a visual weenie for guests entering the park.
To further this, SW has no need of 140cm filler, and Trident even if worked would not provide enough capacity for the family crowd. A thrill ride next to dolphin pools, while not cruel, is not a good 'look'
Doomsday is MW's biscuit, and needs to go. Vortex could actually add needed capacity that is unused at SW.

Look I'm not mad on it, but I think it's about the right level. I don't mind me some fake rock. Not what I would have done, but I think *anything* is preferable to nothing so fair play to them at this point. Play on I say.

Here's the thing, and I think this will be a controversial take; Leviathan has performed well since opening. The downtime it has had has been fairly minimal, one of the lowest in the park, and the queue generally hasn't been stupidly long. I think throughput in the 200s is stupidly low, even for Sea World, but all things considered it more often than not is pretty close to demand.
I'm of the view that currently, SW's major thrill only needs capacity of around 400-500 during peak season, so 300 off peak is fine, but high 200s where it sits isn't nearly as bad as the commentary here would have you believe. If they can run JR at 400+ or Storm at 500+ then Levi's 400+ with 2 trains is plenty.
While Trident is a total biscuit and I think SBF Visa should be banned from new ride discussions, Leviathan, even with its less than ideal ops is 'OK'.
As for Village Key, it's an external mob running it, and while clearly evil, it's less evil than the time-share mob that used to be in all the parks.
I'd be curious to know the percentage of sales that went to some old love buying tickets for their grand kids who wanted to give them the best experience compared to the actual target market of people who care about anything blockchain.
To me 'this outsourced shit kind of evil' is a significantly better point than 'this outsourced shit should let you buy fright night tickets first even though they still haven't sold out'

VQ is an interesting one, because if you offer it free to everyone, does anyone really benifit?
Often times VQ was shorter than the standby. On paper it seems like a loss, but really adding to the regular line for a feature clearly not many people were using is lose lose. As much as it feels like a decline, fuck it off and keep pay to cut expensive af seems like a winner to me. I think a generic Village hate has clouded people's judgement here.

I caught the show once and it was decent enough. May have even watched it a few more times but it was never on when I was in the area. There was a presenter but TBH I feel like just running the vid every 15mins without a staff member would have worked better than just 3 showings. It told the Gold Coast creation story and was in that sweet edutainment spot of being educational and interesting but not dull and boring.

I don't know for sure but the cover they've removed is perhaps not as structurally sound as the track itself, and since the ride is not running, you dont need the cover. Now the cover is gone, best to remove the electrical components too, both so people can't climb on it and so there's zero opportunity for anything to happen with the power.
As for the monorail itself, suspect they're still in a state of 'Making a decision on what to do/what can even be done' with it.

Is this an actual new attraction or are we just rebranding Brisbane? After all, Brisbane features life size versions of many of the locations in Bluey.
