  1. idk what he means by the queue. but isnt the ride itself like a tropical airport. I guess if you say that tailspin is well themed, then so is The Claw. side note: can we discuss how badly jet rescue and the dreamworld motorcycle one need a de-weeding (last time I was there at least). the motorcycle one looked abandoned and all of the racing theming was washed out from rain and asphalt was cracking. jet rescue however looked far better and did just need some of the weeds gone. I love how off-topic this post is forming to be. also no one has said DD? I'd count the whole area its in as theming for the ride. if not its still a good looking spot, and a good looking ride. and theming is really important as it gives the ride immediate appeal. You either have a ride which sticks out as a big grand ride (DC Rivals, GL), or you spend your money on beautifying a smaller, but still amazing ride (wipeout, DD) that way its still interesting to the guests. Like I remember putting Batman Spaceshot last on my list of rides to go on because it didn't look interesting enough. and the theming not only gives you a good starting appeal to the ride, but a good end. Like Cyclone (hotwheels) had endless stairwells, the ride, then a strange circular ramp surrounding a defunct fan? It let down the experience and made the ride feel dangerous to have gotten on. idk if this makes any sense, but its long, and 1am so good luck decoding haha also superman defies what I said by being grand and pretty but shh
  2. Who's up for a Saw ride? 😂😂 --Just the perfect family coaster
  3. yeah thats what I was saying by "I doubt they would do it." and initially, the discussion was about her being the closest to the main DC Heroes/Superheroes (JLA) having magenta because none of the others have any connection to the colour, other than the lantern. Although, mentioning her love lantern, it was just an explanation as to how far they would have to reach to make it one of the main JLA heroes. Im still with Bizzaro though. I just can't see it being Harley ride. I know they don't go "this ride is perfect for the character because it represents their personality" but it just doesn't make much sense that something so large and heavy would be her.
  4. Lmao it wasn't based off gender. it was based off the comics she gets a Pink Lantern ring. But its also a far reach for the coaster. Because I doubt they would do it. So of all the main DC characters (the JLA) she's the closest, yet also the farthest.
  5. No offence to Harley, but I doubt its Harley themed. Its far too big, racy, and grandeur. A Harley coaster would be more like a Tunnel of Love ride. and its because they already have Batman, Superman and Green Lantern. Like theres still the rest of the mains of the Justice League: Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman. But Wonder Woman is the closest they get to magenta (she get the Pink Lantern).
  6. Yeah, as a kid it was a mixture of 6yo me yelling at something saying "I'm not scared of you", then crying hysterically at something else. What they did was good though. Having the wild part out the back with the lighting effects. Because it meant you could have fun, and even if that part scared you, there wasn't any more creepy looking things to watch you go past. I really hope they balance it out like that. In truth, the scariest part was at the end when Shaggy and Scooby talked because honestly no-one saw that coming.
  7. But wasn't the coaster organised in 2015 (I saw 2015 on a box for hyper coaster parts?)? I doubt they have that much contact with DC Comics to organise rides. I mean they do, because of licensing and representing characters correctly and effectively. But I doubt this.
  8. Because its "good to be bad"? haha It could be a link to DC Comics more modern outlook on their heroes. In their comics the heroes loose, and have to start again. You watch the DC tv shows and its following the same system of loss making hope and strength (which ties in with GL). Its kind of the whole ideology of DC and what makes them different to Marvel, and why I love DC so much more than Marvel. But I think this is too complicated as to why. Maybe its because they can throw in other villains names into the ride, like Lex and Joker? Or the whole Injustice League? But very true. I cannot think of a reason either.
  9. Its because Bizzaro is the clone of superman, but evil (kind of). Bizzaro was a creation in Lex Luthor's lab so Lex could finally defeat superman with a creature of mirrored capabilities. But Bizzaro lacks intellect. So you have the great, famous, Superman Escape and the Bizzaro ride to oppose it. (yes, he's purple in the image. But thats because he is actually purple, MW did the wrong colours on the toys and his statue. However, like all comics, everything is up for adaption and interpretation) Yeah, I love this. And I think they will. Like they really should, and if they don't, its a missed opportunity. But to add: What about the Superman Escape & Bizzaro Escape Like have the same symbol, but swap the S backwards (like Bizzaro has) and change the name. To show the similar differences. And the "ride story" is that Lex accidentally lets Bizzaro (you) loose and you reign havoc Its really dumb, and would be terrible to market because people would just think that they changed the name and colours. But its one of many ideas to fly out of my head as of yet.
  10. Thanks lads. I watched the trailer after and forgot to add that. So I guess not ?
  11. I completely agree. This is why I was so convinced that it was Wonder Woman initially. But I guess we have to wait for Justice League to come out to identify who it is. We don't know the villain of the movie yet. It could be Lex, or Bizzaro and Lex, or Joker.
  12. I was thinking about this the other day and I saw a spot for future development that would make it all make sense. If my google-earthing is right, the Fire Station in Superheroes Unleashed has nothing behind the other garage wall. They could remove that wall and do something there (another flat ride), and you're out the back of Arkham: (the red is the path)
  13. It also won't make kids sad. I remember being like 8 and seeing the Superman ride and being annoyed because I was little and couldn't ride the ride, even though I loved Superman so much. Hopefully Suicide Squad deters the younger kids.
