    My main concern the whole time was the initial response from Village and it's management, to the pandemic, initially shrugging it off and even attacking people for suggesting that it's anything more than the common cold. They only took it seriously and changed their stance after the government stepped in and forced them to close. While Ardent parks did stay open until the forced closure of the country, they and their management weren't telling people it's not a big deal nor were they attacking people for having an opinion contrary to theirs. Yeah, I've has problems with Bikash in the past but like most, I'd love to sit down and have a beer with him and actually have a conversation instead of just passing comments. I also appreciate that he took the time to create an account here to be able to have a clearer line of dialog with the community. That and his now understanding of the pandemic shows that he can move forward and take steps to engage with people.

    Well I'd comment with the multiple times they toed the line of safety but it seems it would just get removed anyway since it paints Village and their upper management in a negative light

    I don't see a rapids ride getting built anytime soon but I definitely see DW getting another wet ride. There will be many more other wet rides built in Australia before we see another rapids installation.

    I don't think anyone said GL was well implemented. I believe what was said was that it looks fantastic now that Rivals is there. Mainly because it doesn't look like a curb coaster and from the motorway, the two of them look much better and more exciting than just GL.

    Cyclone was plonked on the carpark and did look fairly out of place until 2006 rolled around and WWW opened. That's the nature of plonking things outside of the park main interior areas

    GL next to Rivals does look fantastic but until Rivals was built, it looked like they had just left a coaster out on the curb for council collection.

    @Bikash Randhawa Although we wont know how these plans will pan out until they are delivered, it's promising to know that you're aware of these and do have plans for these "neglected" and "troubled" areas of the parks. It'll be interesting to see what the future brings for the Village parks.

    Okay, and that’s great that news papers can’t get figures correct, I’m talking about their whole public image at the moment, one which never looks good when their GM is attacking people publicly. Yes, they are now working with the government. Presumably after the backlash they got for how they were handling the situation before. Oh! I understand, so you think I can’t have an unbiased opinion because some users on this forum can’t form an unbiased opinion, despite me shitting on both parks regularly. Duly noted. Also, I think you’ll find that people aren't picking sides because over Greg, people are picking sides over which company is building a world class rollercoaster.
