In general, the merging in of [non marine] animal based attractions, is a mixed bag (at best) for theme park operators. Is the park a theme park, is it a zoo....personally, I'd suggest DW sticks with TI but does away with the mini-zoo down the back....maybe set a medium-term plan to develop that area into a "nextgen" Rocky Hollow type section, with new dynamic log ride attraction etc etc TI seems like a relatively popular, fairly novel animal attraction.....the mini zoo is now rather pointless from the "DW going forward" perspective.

Motorcoaster may have been a worthwhile ride to install or not...but, it was a perfect example of the appalling theming or complete lack of theming, whichever way you want to look at it, at DW after its glory days of the 80's!/early 90's. The attraction, was situated in the completely wrong part of the Park. 🙄

More evidence of the poor state much of DW was allowed to descend to, over the last couple of decades or so....some progress has been made, but the journey needs to continue!

The ads might be cheesy...but WOW....DW sure looked way better, back 'em there olden days....the layout and theming actually made sense! 🤗

Let's hope in 2024, SEA World announce a new fully water based ride, for all the family, but with a solid thrill element in the mix too! I don't know, whenever I think about SEA World not now having a flume based ride, for some reason, it's a really glaring omission from their line-up! 🐬🐬🐬

DW should get cracking on a NEW Rocky Hollow area, complete with quality flume ASAP....a real loss from their ride stable! 💪

Yeah, you'd think SEAworld would see the importance of a true water based flume ride! 🙄 Sad they let it get to this point...but to be fair, flumes have/are having a downturn in their cycle worldwide.

Back when DW was decent park....now pfft one for the unskoooled kiddies!

Geee...the once mighty DW looks like a half day out 1960's rest-stop attraction, on the side of the Pacific Highway! Hold on....I think it is..... 😆

A quality "Splash Mountain" type attraction is a sitter for DW.....but I doubt management have the talent to see the obvious and go for it! Instead, they'll go out, find some other carnival type ride, issue hyperbole media statements and claim, it's a new world beating attraction coming soon to the Ekka...I mean DW! Before the nervy kids kick in, Splash Mountain is undergoing [or soon to] major reworks and is DECADES old technology now and DW's shown it can spend some real ca$h, when it wants....to get suckered into the "coaster spiral"....when what it REALLY needs, is a world class water flume attraction...that's an all-ages calling card!

What this is, is DW trying to again con everyone, that a hyped up carvial/sideshow attraction, plonked in a really dumb place, is going to do wonders!

chill dude, just get a tertiary educated "English" speaker...you'll be fine! 😎 true, there's a few "big words" there...but you gotta try to master them.....sooner or later!

They have a park map? Never looked...well, not for years anyway! Delighted to give some feedback on the layout and theming though...a) what USE to be the beautiful IMAX Theatre BUILDING at DW...now totally out of place...looks weird, you can and should build a new attraction INSIDE it, but don't butcher the exterior. b) Also, that HIDEOUSE motorbike rollercoaster that totally DESTROYED the beautiful garden/river theming. c) The new Steel Taipan - I've got no problem with the actual ride, but not where they put it. There's a heap more, but these will do for now. Let's hope the newgen DW mangement has some actual thempark planning skills....so far, a mixed report card! In all fairness, I've not physically set foot in DW in over a decade, with no short-term plan to return...it's just not good enough for me, it hasn't been since Macquarie Bank accountants started ripping the soul out of it years ago, before Ardent was formed....who knows, maybe, I'll take a trip away again....one day!

Great to see the investment...but DW as clueless as ever, about theming and layout!

Hopefully a quality "flume ride" aged appeal is wide and certainly SEAWorld, needs more water themed attractions.....anything, BUT a[nother] "coaster", that's a bad business and entertainment offering spiral to get trapped in!

DW really needs a new "log ride" type water based attraction. [Seaworld too for that matter].
