Pretty sure the OP would be a pre-teen exploring the internet and has an interest in theme parks/rides and stumbled upon us. heaven help you child...

WnW has implemented weight plates/scales on all slides. Mammoth Falls has one at the bottom of the stairs as well so you can weigh your group prior to all the cardio required to get up the stairs, and one is mid-install at the queue entry for Constrictor

@Adventures With JWorld They deleted it when the first 20+ posts on it said either “it’s closed” or “it’s never open when I go there”

Was funny they were promoting Black Hole on social media yesterday despite it being indefinitely closed...

Fully6 - WhiteWater World's new slide tower

That’s fully six news, bro. -
This is not a Mum and dad business selling hotdogs at community events. It’s a multimillion dollar business on an international scale. There would 100% be solid, but malleable, plans and timelines in place for rides and park developments.

A “maybe” from Bikash shouldn’t be taken as a good sign.

Could Movie World’s logo be updated?
Brad2912 replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Only changed this week so any movies you have seen clearly wouldn’t have this logo on them... they rebadged the tower at the studios with this logo - think you can expect this to be their logo on all platforms from now on. -
Bikash is over at the IAAPA currently and had posted of some meetings with B&M and Gerstlauer, including a model of an incredible looking duelling coaster

Could Movie World’s logo be updated?

Not to my knowledge. The park just pays licensing fees to use the name and properties -
Wondering why the forum pages are being flooded by countless ads.. seems my membership has expired. Not even a reminder email which seems weird. Dunno how anyway enjoys transversing all the ads to find content on here.

Dreamworld November Update 2019
Brad2912 replied to Gold Coast Amusement Force's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Was just a private corporate event that hired the park out, so don’t read into it being an indicator of future public events -
Safety warning: its 35 degrees Today and even the AstroTurf is scorching hot. Bring thongs....

On a ride at night, yes, unless you wanna go to neon nights instead...

“12 days of Christmas” 12 dates of White Christmas 12 experiences/things you’ll see at White Christmas. Seems pretty self explanatory... As for today’s “10 children waving” its accompanied with video of excited children enjoying rides at night waving to their parents once again, showing an experience that can happen at WC.

And unless I am blind or too tired, I can’t see a key that reflects what those numbers mean... -
They’ll need to have something super impressive to get people to actually deviate off the highway once the bypass goes through in a few years

So I guess DW should install shade over their walkways too incase I decide to walk from WWW to the log ride without shoes...

If a toddler scurries off and gets burnt, it’s the parents fault, not WnWs. If my toddler ran off when I wasn’t watching i’d be far more concerned about them drowning than getting burnt feet. WnW is aware of paths being hot, they wet some areas as a comfort/nice gesture, it’s not expected or required by them. Council doesn’t have to keep paths along the beach cool with sprinklers, everyone knows they are hot, so they wear footwear! It’s the same thing. Common sense is not so common these days....

A lawsuit?? That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard on here since Push disappeared! there is no grounds for a lawsuit if you choose to remove your shoes and then walk on scorching hot concrete. That’s not a liability or safety issue, it’s a stupidity issue. 99% of people at WnW have thongs, they’re just too lazy to put them on to walk around. Take thongs yourself next time, just like me and my family and countless people did yesterday and you’ll have no problems.
-
It was 37 degrees today, of course the floor is going to hot - no matter what type of surface you use. I don’t get why it’s so hard for people to wear thongs and leave them at the bottom of a slide.
