Re the 2 points above... Westworld might be HBO's most popular series, but it's also in its infancy. In Australia it was only available on subscription tv, it's not on free to air, nor on any of Netflix/Stan etc. Until it gets a wider audience in Australia is a useless property to base a new area on WWF was never 'themed' to the Wild Wild West movie. The queue house played rotating scenes and the theme song and they had a giant poster for the movie in the area, but the physical ride itself as no ties to the film, portrays no scenes from the film. It's a generic western Coaster. -

@wikiverse why would they re-build storage facilities to function in the same manner the repurposed sound staged were adequately doing? Why not just build a new maze/multipurpose area? Oh that's right, they just did that a year ago. also, it's not about the 1 month that FN runs that makes the stages unavailable to production, it's the prior 2-3 months whilst the maze sets are built, and the month after whilst it's pulled apart, case in point the Dodgems area that is closed 4-5 months of the year purely for the use of 8 nights of fright nights.. -

@wikiverse on the subject of Studio usage.. there is no access to the studios anytime soon... Aquaman has the entire studios locked down until the back end of the year, at which point the studios are then closed down in prep for the commonwealth games that are utilising a couple of sound stages, so no production can happen during that period. From what I've heard, Disney was super impressed by the capabilities, ease of production and financial benefits of filming on the coast, its safe to say the days of sound stages sitting dormant for half a year are over, I doubt we'll ever see a FN maze in that location again. -

I enjoy Ricks and Billabong. I'd love to see some seasonal adjustments to menu's (they've both offered the exact same dishes for the last 12 months). But they are good value, often have kids eat free, and desserts. Tiger Island has zero seating 6 months ago, and I've never seen it more than 50% full since re-opening, must have been crazy busy on your visit but no extra seating is part of stage 2 to my awareness. Hard to disagree with much else! -
Look, for all of us who (where possible) will be there with bells on in the first days of operation, the botched marketing will be forgotten the minute the harness is locked in and we start to roll. My concern is for the missed opportunity for the market outside of us, and locals who already have VIP passes. Nothing short of a sharp increase in visitation and pass sales will justify the expenditure that has gone into this project, and I don't see VTP as having helped themselves in this scenario

Don't think we'll be seeing any extensive capex at Dreamworld in the next 12 months. They definitely be spending but as we've seen it will be on freshening up park standards and offerings to 'refresh' the park. On a ride front I think we'll be lucky to see any new rides this calendar year. I don't see Main Event being too keen for massive investment until they see a relatively strong pickup in attendance figures

The marketing, well the lack there of, has been ridiculous. It's a tradegy of Shakespearean proportions that the management of the parks we love & support so much, and want to see succeed, seem completely devoid of marketing nous. The building of hype and early interest has already passed them by. Any of the 100,000 people who pass by a now partially constructed Coaster as they go down the M1 and go home and jump on the MW website are greeted by... nothing. They don't tell their family and mates in nsw/vic that there is this cool new coaster coming, because they know nothing about it. People have already decided where they are spending their Sept holidays, and have done so without a vital piece of information that could have made the GC and unmissable option. It just seems crazy to me.

Look, I didn't mind SS as a movie. It's not a bad movie at all, just suffers from introducing the audience to about 15 new characters that have had no prominence in film or tv previously (except Joker). It also suffers from a poor major 'villain' in Enchantress. It was popular enough to get immediately greenlit for a sequel, and spin off movies for Harley & potentially Deadshot on the strength in their portraying actors performances. In saying all that, I still don't think it is an easily marketable theme for a coaster. We have a villains precinct, a "generic" villains based Coaster in AA, do we need another "collective villains" coaster? I still have no idea why it's not red/yellow and themed to The Flash, it seemed a perfect choice for mine. Maybe there was a special on magenta paint...

Stopped to take some photos today myself (won't upload theme as they will just be repeats of what we've seen posted already). Was cool to see a few others in & around the site doing the same, not sure if any of them were you guys or people just taking photos for themselves -
Superman isn't DC's main character, that's Bats. Commercially, Batman is a more valuable and successful licence. There is no way they will be re-theming SE. There is better chance of this being the Barney The Dinosaur Coaster than SE being re-themed. SS has been discussed in the early days as a possible theme, seems highly unlikely to me as a theme, and that has no reflection on the DW accident, it's just a poor theme

$100k apartments? Maybe 15 years ago... or in Eaglby (apologies if anyone on here lives in Eaglby). -
Sinestro was mentioned early on when the first track arrived. again though, its a minor villain not known to anyone outside of readers of the Lantern comics, those who watched that terrible movie. Hes not the basis for the best coaster ever built in a country. The colours have no resemblance to ANY Wonder Woman imagery. Some people here know what the theme is and are keeping lips sealed (rightly so), I am not one of them, but for me it's either a generic/non-individual character themed, or it's The Joker. That's it.

Based off this? The only thing you could confidently rule out from that is that it's not the lift hill (unless your TPSN). -
Have you considered that they did stock a larger range but certain products didn't move, resulting in unnecessary stock waste? Your photos from DW also show the same lines located in multiple places (display towers and shelving fixtures). Don't confuse volume with range. Wouldn't be surprised if they have very similar product ranges, but MW doesn't multi-locate and utilise unnecessary floor stands due to either space limitations or sales results of the lines
